...What anime song would you listen before the end?
I would like to hear once more Alone again, in the rain or melody of sadness before I die. That would easy my mind.

I wouldn't want to leave on a sad note. Something hyper, and up-tempo would suit me better.
My pick would be "Tank", the opening from Cowboy Bebop.

Either Blue by Mai Yamane (the song to the ending credits of the last episode of Cowboy Bebop) for it's calming ending. what a way to go.
or Watashi no Tamagoyaki from Dragon Half because it would always be nice to go laughing
or Ride on Shooting Star by The Pillows from FLCL. I can actually sing to it unlike most japanese songs I download.
I honestly can't decide. -_-;;

Hmm, I'd probably choose a sad song, probably The Real Follk Blues from Cowboy Bebop. That would make me happy.

I would pick "Stop the: OK you have this much time before to die" by Moderator. But that is just me.
In a more serious note, I would say: "Speed Metal Symphony" by Cacophony. What is better than two guitarrits (Marty Freedman and Jason Becker) in a 7 minute song blazing beautiful notes.

That's the way to go. After nearly every episode of Bebop that song put me at ease. Such a good thing coming to an end.
I'm going to go cry now.

What's with these "If you have this much time to live" threads? How depressing... ^^
Speaking of depressing, I think I'll choose Real Folk Blues as well. It's just ends everything ^^
Blue from Cowboy Bebop, to remind me that life is just a deam after all. =)

I wouldn't want to listen to an anisme song before i died. But if i had to I'd listen to "Call Me, Call Me" - The Seatbelts.

I would have to go with my favorite anime song, so I choose RahXephon's OP, Hemisphere.

Are you on crack? I wouldn't want to listen to music the last thing i did before i died. I would rush out in the streets, try to say something catchy to the first person i met, fail miserably and die.

Ditto for me. I can't even think of one I'd like to hear. My pre-death tastes run more towards my favorite old time hymns such as "Blessed Assurance".

Canon in D. A beautiful song and a pleasant melodie to "fall asleep" to. This topic is depressing...

I agree with tono the hero
But if it were that way
It would be a three way tie between ride on shooting star by the pillows, real folk blues, from CB, or blue form Cb
all of them are great sweet songs

Hmm thats a tough one... Blue by Mai Yamane from Cowboy Bebop or Yakusoku by Yori Horie from Love Hina.

Probably 'elm' from cowboy bebop.
But, if I really was gonna go, it wouldn't be an anime song. It would be 'fade into you' by mazzy star. sorry if I slipped off topic there.

probably I'd listen to War of the Last Wolves from Rurouni Kenshin.

"Fake Wings" from the .hack//SIGN soundtrack. That song just exudes peace and serenity.

I'd have to agree with the whole "not a song thing" ..... i think i'd be too obsessed with trying to be remembered or something

"Hikari", from Kingdom Hearts (it's not anime... kinda)... or "It's gonna Rain" from Kenshin
Most lickely the 2nd ending of inyuasha or Blue. Both would set the mood perfectly.

Before I die... well, I would definately pick a mellow-ish song. I would have to say it's a tie between Rever's Edge by Shinkichi Mitsume and (I know it's not an amine song but..) Resolution by Motion City Soundtrack. I know, I know, you said pick an anime song. But I can't help but choose that song, 'cause it's so completely awesome.

Definately "Blue" from Cowboy Bebop. It sums up the whole death thing perfectly. Especially the last words as I die ("life is just a dream you know, that's never ending...I'm ascending...").
Or possibly a few other songs, like "Call Me, Call Me" from Cowboy Bebop, "Himitsu Kichi" from Eureka Seven, "Season's Call" from Blood+, or Full Metal Alchemist's 2nd ending theme. But I'd still most likely stick with Blue.

I'd really want to listen to X-Japan's "Art of Life." Not only is that the perfect song for reminiscing about life... it's 30 minutes long, which would give me that much more time to live.
Too bad it's not an anime song.
Soooo.... an anime song...
Maybe "Mizu no Madoromi" from Fantastic Children. Why? Because it's so peaceful and beautiful.
I don't know.

Dani California was in the live action Death Note, close enough. I'd listen to that and probably do something dumb in the process.

When I go I plan to rock out with my c*ck out! Therefore:
"Blues Drive Monster" by The Pillows or "Do You Want To" by Franz Ferdinand. :headbang:

"Mr. Dandy" from Bubblegum Crisis, that song is so funny, it makes dying out look like a gas! But wait! How would I be going out? In a gunfight!
And I'd probably prefer to be shot in the chest with a few slugs (under some heavy cocaine dosage to keep me standing up for an extra five minutes), now that's dying like a man! Of course, all this is happening to "Mr. Dandy!"
"Heeeeeey Mr. Dandy! Heeeeeey Mr. Joy!" Blam! Blam! Blam!

And yes, I was referrencing Scarface.

I'd listen to "Houkiboshi". It'd represent my wish to be with my loved one before I go.... unfortunately, he lives so far away T_T

I think that I decided on Ailes Grisis from Haibane Renmei a long time ago. In all seriousness, it would be the absolute perfect song to die to. I don't think that I'd ever feel upset listening to it.
If not that then probably the piano version of the Honey and Clover II opening theme, Fugainaiya.

If I have just another 5 measly minutes before my last breath, I would want to listen on something that I can reminisce on my childhood innocence, and there's no other song that fit that theme more perfectly than Komoriuta (Lullaby) by Reiko Yasuhara, the closing song to Now and Then, Here and There.
Ahh, something I can shed tears by before I die... T_T

O my god, i just have five minutes ?¿ the stupid itunes is gonna probably take longer than that to open... Anyway, im really confused, a lot to chose from. But the top three in order would be "Over The Sky" by Hitomi (last exile) bekause it makes me happy everytime i listen it. Then "God knows" by hirano aya (the melancholy of haruhi susumiya) bekause its sooo good and i wanna to remember it in the beyond, and "canta per me" by Yuki Kajiura (noir), i dont know why this one, but its very diying in a relaxed way kind of song...

Ok, so first I was thinking Scattered Rain, a Trigun song. But then I learned it was five minutes, thirty seconds. Suck! Now that would piss me off to no end... not being able to finish my last song.
Also, I want to make the most of my time. Canta Per Me (Noir) is only 3:12, so for almost two minutes I am going to sit in that stupid hospital bed and think "hmm, that was a nice song." Can we listen to this thing twice?
Tank! and Walk in the Rain (Cowboy Bebop) are also too short , Real Folk Blues (Bebop) is a minute sixteen over but that might be ok because it is very repitious so I can pretty much figure out how it's going to end. That and I must have heard it a thousand times by now. Call Me, Call Me (Bebop) almost had it at 4:42, it reminds me of a friend of mine so I would probably die crying but I guess that's not so bad.
But the winner is Inner Universe (Ghost in the Shell:SAC): four minutes, fifty seven seconds. Now that's making the most of your time!

When I go I plan to rock out with my c*ck out!
Rock on, 2-20. Rock on.
Choices:
- "Eye of the Tiger" (because goddamnit, I want it to be my theme song)
- "Consequence Free" by Great Big Sea
- "Tribute" by Tenacious D
- "Yuuzora no Kamihikouki", the HnI ending theme

I would probably want to listen to One Life by The Pillows... if I only had a choice to listen to a song, and only had anime songs to choose from.
The first OP for Kaleido Star: Season One!!!!!!!! It would help uplift my spirits! Yay!

Okay, mine's changed now. If I were to go out with a bit of a bang, it would be one of these songs:
One Life- The Pillows. 4:08
Come Down- The Pillows. 2:06 (So I guess I'd start it when I only have about 2 minutes left and let everyone listen to the end of the song whilst I die.)
If I were to go out comedically:
Kabalevsky {Clown}- Gallop. 1:38. Start it with 2 minutes left to live. then throw the stereo at somebody's head and die.
Carnival- The Pillows. 1:37. Start it with 2 minutes left. Yell at people randomly. Die.
If I were to go out in a sad romantical dramatical situation:
Rever's Edge- Shinkichi Mitsume. 2:49. Start with 2:49 left to live. die at the very last note.
Bran-New Lovesong- The Pillows. 1:58. Start with 2 minutes to live, then say something memorable in those last two seconds.
the shaman king theme song
I know strange choice but it makes me feel happy inside.

Sleepless Beauty Remix (Meaning slower without all the fancy fast arrangments) by Ryuichi from Gravitation. He sang this at Bad Lucks first LIVE Concert in episode 3. =D This songs makes me so happy and calms me down no matter what mood I am in.
xD And people are thinking too literally here! I mean this is hypothetically speaking (? Did I use that word right?) not what you would definitly want to do before you die.

I think I'd go with Bokura no Jikan by eufonius. It was the ED to Futakoi Alternative, and it's such a beautiful sounding song. No clue on what the lyrics mean, but it sounds perdy. >_<
Non-anime song would be the bedtime lullaby that my dad used to sing to me to get me to go to sleep. It's in Spanish and I'm not really sure if he made it up or if it's an actual song. >_>; Anywho, listening to my dad sing that song to me before I die would be fitting. I'm such a daddy's girl. :3

There's something about RIVER the 2nd ending I think for Gundam Seed that I think would kind of be cool as he's singing "Just give me one more chance"... of course if I'm dying, I suppose I wouldn't think that would be so cool at the time.
But I guess that line to me it just kind of reflects the general mentality of human beings.
