I support moving this to the art forum.
NAh, I don't draw my own manga or anime, I just draw for fun. When/If I get a scanner, I'll probably start an art thread.

I don't make "manga", I sometimes draw comics during school when bored and always get a good laugh out of my friends. I have a little world going on, but it's not much.

I have a manga going. It's pretty good. Now that I'm going into high school it might catch some interest since there are more people.
The manga is called "Tatsu" and it's a lot like Tolkien's work (ahem, Anderson! lol Tolkien-like stories must be popular!) but it's also very Asian and it also has a lot of original stuff. My best friend Shanna (Shukumei02 on this site) is the co-artist but for the most part I came up with the story.

I second that.
You should take a little look into AA's Art Forum, quite alot of stuff relevant to this subject there. =^.~=
I Draw alot and intend to start (and finish) something in that respect. You can look it up in my thread... I know, I know, I'm doing inapropriate advertisment, but heck, there you are.

I've done my own manga through just using stick figures, you know just to know what I'd drawing first. Soon I'll be starting on the manga though. I'm just having a hard time finishing the ending.

I do, very often actually. And I have a close friend who does. She's been working on one for quite some time now.

I have thought of doing a manga quite often actually, but have never gotten around to it. There is a kid at my school that is a major otaku and he is awesome at drawing anime so.... ill probably make one with him

I started writing my own manga a while ago but I still can't think of a name for it. I started illustrating it a few days ago.

Scrap those pages. Triggerman[my writer] agreed that we should go in a more deeper direction, with action and drama, so he started over, and the last time I heard from him, he was on Chap 3 of the script.

I'm drawing an anime in my school book, it is no rurouni kenshin, but it's funny. I had to make myself the main character because of my lack of creativity

Well... Alex and I are working on a manga. We created the story and wrote it together and now he's drawing the pages. I'll cg them as soon as they are finished. I must say I'm very exited about this project.

I've been planning on one for a year now. It's basically a very long and tragic story divided into three books (Dreamcell, Sleep Serene, Dawn After Unconsiousness). So far I've only been doing concept sketches and basic story/character design/timeline for it.
First up though, I'm gonna do a shorter 14 page long manga out of the same concept, which I'm trying to get published (just to see if anyone is interested in it). Then I might start drawing on the longer stories.

"Slain" Thats the one I've been working on for a long time now. I'm almost finished. I think it would do good as both an anime and manga....well....I KNOW it'd do good as a manga....but anyway. It's set in to worlds, and is based around sisters who sell their souls for power, one becomes ruthless...the other is just sorta there but not, she's both good and bad. It's hard to explain, but it's comming along really well, it's the first one I've ever come close to finishing.althoug....I think I might make it a trilogy.....
I doodle all the time, and make pictures for my friends on request, but making a manga sounds like a lot more work than I would want to invest in a pass-time. Plus, I can only draw straight on and 3/4 view of the face/body so it would be a very bland read. ><

Well, I am drawing a small manga about fighting, but my drawing is very plain, I don't got many practice. Maybe I'll show an image later.

I draw chibi comics called "Cryptorchid Chronicles". It's really funny, and very simply drawn. So simple, in fact, that it could barely be called chibi. It's always humorous, even when the plot is based on something serious. I chose the name 'cause "Lauren Cryptorchid" is my nick name, and the main charactor is based on me. So it's name is "Cryptorchid". All my best friends are in it, too. Lloyd even helps draw them, and writes his own as well.

I have been drawing for a while but I have just started drawing anime people. I don't have a scanner and I don't have a computer at home. I would love to show someone my "furries"....I do have several stories floating in my head and surprisingly almost all of them have names...
*A story about a writer who used to write self help books and is now writing a murder mystery
*A story about a family of "furries"...( maybe it's kinda like Fruits Basket)
*Another about a group of people and the philosopher's theory of the world of forms(inspired by a movie)
*Another bout grave diggers
*One more about human experiments( which came about because I was thinking what "Stray Dog" was like)
thats all for now

I draw stuff, and manga-styled comics. I ask my sis how it looks and stuff, because other people's opinions are always needed.

I don't do manga or anime, but I do like to draw my own made-up characters/people because I find it fun. My sister keeps saying that I should go into the business world of drawing characters for anime, but I keep thinking that it's an absurd idea...

I've been wanting to for the longest. You know, as a hobby.
I'd constantly draw in high school during class. I never got really far though, only a couple of pages. I don't have the time and patience to put together a worth while comic though. >__>

Oh wow, is this ever an old thread. Wow. That manga I said I was writing on the first page kind of fizzled :p.
I'd still like to write one though. If only I had more free time...

*flails in* >.> I draw random, vicious things... but I started a proper manga during summer vacation, but I never continued it...
girl-can-rock, get Corel or Photoshop (or Gimp, if you must) and a scanner so you can scan and edit your works. As for myself, I only scan my stuff and use Brightness/Contrast to adjust it -_-

ive got photoshop i just suck at editing on the pc lol.i have tried, but it always ends up too blurry, and when i sharpen it it didnt help much.

>.> Really... hmm...try just using Brightness/Contrast. Sometimes you don't really need to Sharpen/Blur it.

... I started on a manga idea a few years ago and I gave it some serious thought... "OMG This is cheesy..." was the first thing out of my mouth afterwards. I actually let my dad read it and he said it was a great idea. If he likes it, I might stand a chance. (he's always been my toughest critic) It's fantasy/romance, but the romance is sort of just the reason for the story. A young girl must travel her world before she can even think about become the wife of her prince charming. I'm only on the storyboard part but... ^.^ If anyone thinks they can't do it-then they should just bite the bullet and try, people can surprise themselves.

Holly crap! I leave AA for years and when I come back... the first thread I see is the same one I posted way back when...........
The manga I was working on back then... in 2003, heh... was abandoned. Recently I've been working on a new one... almost finished drawing and starting to do the CG... if all goes well I'll be selling it in the next anime convention here in Brasil...
Pff! Hello to anyone who remembers me! This is a flash visit! ^_^

Well, all my great plots and ideas were recently taken by my Boyfriend... ( for those who don't know, he is this guy who posted right before me)
We combined his ideas with mine and now he has developed his manga.
I don' actually draw mangas because they take a great lot of time and I also have huge insecurities when it comes to bodies. heheheh
