Oh boy, I promised cheapskate Shadowmage that I would vote for his review but after seeing COMPL3X and SK joining too, I had to go with the tossing-the-coin game. Heads, my vote goes to Shadowmage; tails, to COMPL3X; and if it amazingly stands on itself; vote goes to SK. Okay here goes...

*AC tosses a coin and lets it drop on the tabletop

Okay, the competition here is on a different level than the action contest. Almost all of these reviews are as good (if not better) than your typical review on the AA front page. I'll try to get down my opinion on all the reviews even if I have to do it in segments.

Shadowmage- 'Tis mine so I'll refrain from commenting on it (and voting for it).

Zelkiiro- This review reminds me of some of the old school AA reviews. You've obviously got potential, but your writing style has not matured enough to truly capitalize on it. It's a good review overall and would have fared well in the other competition, so blame the contenders.

L-Sama- Once again, this is a good review that one may expect to see in AA's Library, but it's simply not as good as some of the other reviews. The main problem I had with this review is that ideas don't flow as naturally as it could have.

AlterGenesis-X- You know, right before I went to bed. You were pretty near getting my vote. Okay, I would have been surprised if SK didn't enter (didn't expect COMPL3X), but this review had the curt, confrontational style that I like to read.

aoi_n_asul- Outside the anime description, the synopsis and the first paragraph, I disagreed with practically ever word of this review...

Okay, the writing itself was pretty good. You know how to convey your opinion in a mature and interesting fashion. The only thing that blocked you from the top tier is the fact that your writing lacked the energy and color the other reviews exuded.

COMPL3X- To be honest, I was amazed at what you managed to churn out. Your review intertwines words and ideas in a way I wish I could do even on a semi-consistent basis. Your colorful use of vocabulary and your ability to draw meaningful associations gave you my vote.

Sorrow-kun- Give me a few seconds to find a few positive adjectives I haven't used for your reviews. This is another solid review on your part and it would have gotten my vote if COMPL3X didn't enter with a bombshell.

Yes, the two of us reviewed anime that does not lend itself to fascinating associations like COMPL3X's anime, but I can't deny that COMPL3X just did better.

Shadowmage[/g] - concise, entertaining, and honest. I like that about a review because I believe that you should not be afraid to admit you wrote something, so long as you believe it.

[b]Zelkiirop - I would say this is my next favourite. Not much really wrong with it.

L-sama - It's really a thorough and well structured review, but I guess fairly generic.

AlterGenesis-X - I think this isn't one of your best works. Somehow feels a bit rushed and lacks the usual colour in the language that I remember your other reviews have been full of.

aoi_n_asul - Slightly awkward pacing in the language structure here and there.

Complex - Needs a bit of polish I think. The review certainly encompassed the main aspects that needs to be covered in such a piece of writing, but I felt that it ultimately could have been better.

Sorrow-kun - Can't really complain... but... can't really praise either.
