One week to vote. Y'all should know the rest by now.

Okay, since this thread is basically being ignored I might as well post my opinions now.

Giant Robo: I'll be blunt. The writing was a bit bland. You lost me on the second paragraph when you started talking about the characters. I'm sure that people who have seen the show will nod their heads in agreement with your assessment, but I was lost. The later part of your review did get better, but a review should be good from the get go.

Air: This is 67% synopsis and 33% commentary. If I want a summary of an anime that badly, I'll simply use ANN.

Wedding Peach DX: I must admit, your attempt at enthusiasm did show. Okay, the structure of your review was a sight for sore eyes, but aesthetics aside, this wasn't a bad review. I, however, think that organization and varied vocabulary will make the review better.

Bartender: Well, what can I say. When it comes to consistency, if I'm GONZO, SK is Kyoto Animation. You immediately pull in the audience and sail them across your tightly written review. With equal parts frank commentary and serious critique, this piece does its job with class. Bartender gets my vote.

Kemonozume: This one is mine, so I'll refrain from commenting.

I voted for Sorrow cause he's teh umbeetable. Although I didn't like how he avoided saying too much bad things about Bartender because there were some really frustrating and boring parts in that show that screamed mediocrity, his is nevertheless the best dish on the table if only by little.

Voted for Bartender and here's why:

Giant Robo-
Just as you said the "series is fast to follow," so is your summary and review. I re-read it three or four times trying to make heads or tails of what the series is about or what to expect, but I'm still puzzled. I also question your word usage, such as with "character." In one sentence you're speaking directly about the characters in the anime, and in the very next sentence I think you're referring to the show's character. It's confusing and disrupts the flow. A bit more organization and varied descriptives and you'll have yourself a nice little review there.

Air-
WHERE'S THE BEEF?! Short and sweet was this review. I think you took this week's theme too far. XD That's a good way to start writing your review--getting your basic reactions down--but then you need to go back and expound on those ideas. And don't be afraid to use examples from the anime to help explain why you thought the story was so magnificent or why it was confusing at times. Just always remember to give us more than, "Yeah, I liked it."

Wedding Peach DX-
Not a bad review, but certainly one for those that have at least seen Wedding Peach. Since I haven't, I felt a bit lost. Also, I have to agree with Shadowmage about your vocabulary. It was a bit too informal and familiar for a review. Instead of saying "the costumes weren't slutty," perhaps "not too revealing" would have been better. Whoever you write these reviews for, you always want to appear professional to your readers. It gives you more credibility and authority on the subject so that we might care what you think to begin with.

Bartender-
Consistent, organized, authoritative; you know your anime and it shows.

Kemonozume-
Very nice. Consistent and organized, but also with personality. It also worked to pique my interest in the series. You do a great job of describing the look and feel of the show, but the one thing I would suggest is to add more hard examples from the anime itself. Something we can take to the bank.

All right...Time for my input

Giant Robo: Nice structure all around on this review. Things got confusing in terms of what was being discussed in the second paragraph, but you still got your points across.

AIR: A very good summary, but the review is almost non-existant. It's a good start though, and I hope to see more from you in future contests.

Wedding Peach DX: Very nicely done. I haven't seen Wedding Peach myself, so reading this was a little confusing. You put a lot of your own style in your descriptions, which is a very nice touch. Another solid review.

Bartender: It looks as though you'll be getting your pace leading fourth win in this contest, Sorrow. Yet again, you put out a smooth flowing, easy to understand review that paints a very good picture of this series. Well done.

Kemonozume: It was between you, Bartender, and DX. Like the Bartender review, you had a nice flow and it was very readable. The one thing that struck me was that, despite the good description of the anime, I still felt like I didn't know all that much about it. Still, a very good review on your part.

Vote goes to Sorrow from me. Congrats to all, and I'll see y'all in the next contest! :)
