UChicago Scavhunt will be in full steam on that weekend. Sadly I'll have to skip it for this year too.

Roark and I will be there on Saturday. I was going to look into doing the press thing, but in order to do anything for press, you need to pre-reg for all three days, and we can't really afford to con it all 3 days, so we'll just be slumming it normal style. I'll be the one in the Franziska cosplay squealing over gashapon in the dealer's room.

Sad you won't be able to make it, loner! And Mana - Man, ACen last year was so busy for me that I never got the chance to call you and Roark up to see you guys. Hopefully I'll get that chance this year? @_@ Although this year's looking to be even less promising, and I'm not even there yet. In any case, I hope I at least run into you!

I've never quite understood how an anime con can be that busy for people. For me, it's always been about being laid back and taking a break.

I've never quite understood how an anime con can be that busy for people. For me, it's always been about being laid back and taking a break.

Really? ACen has always been crazy for me. I'm always running around, trying to get to this place, then trying to meet up with this person, and then crap, there's a photoshoot about to happen so I have to run to that, that takes a while, and then a panel pops up that I wanted to go to, or some other event. And then we have to squeeze in meals and whatnot. I think it's because I'm running around with a large number of people, and we have a tendancy to lose each other, and we have to find each other again. I don't know, it's been a lot of that for me, as I try to do pretty much everything I can. ^_^; I often even have a hard time getting the meals in!
