It's all good. I totally understand and can totally relate, Sage. I'm hitting midterms for my semester right now too.

No problems here, life is a very busy process and it's cool you've got your priorities straight! :D

Hopefully the vote count is healthy like last contest's.

Come on, people! Only 4 votes total (5 with the addition of mine after this post) with three days left in the voting!? Let's get this contest alive :)

That said...I'll stay quiet on my review, which leads me to the others.

Twilight Q: This is a rather nice review. My biggest concern is that you spent so much time on describing the second OVA that everything else seems to be put on the back burner. Your descriptions and explanations are delivered well, so that helps a lot. Nice work :)

City Hunter: I was really impressed with this review on a few levels. That said, you get my vote on this one. Your review seemed to be more balanced and touched on everything that you highlighted in your highs and lows. All the topics were hit with an equal amount of time and didn't drag for too long. Well done :)

All right. That's all from me. See y'all in the 14th! :D

Okay, I'll help out this time.

L-Sama: I didn't really like this one. It was far too short to give any merit to the score it recieved. I think you should've spent more time talking about Dragonball itself, rather than it's sequels. For the amount that you have, there is very little to convince the reader why they should even watch the show. It almost felt like you were trying to sell the show to people who've watch DBZ and DBGT, we should essentially be irrevelant to DB. I think with your talent, you could've done better.

MilkyMagic: A longer review, and a little more solid. But, I don't think you've spent enough time actually "reviewing" the anime. You've more or less had your synopsis spill into the review, which kind of ruined the flow. Again, there is lack of "conviction" here for the grade given. Your ideas are organized, you just need to be a little more careful with what you include.

ohtori_akio: The first thing I noticed when I was reading this review, is that you say "I." Now this might not be a formal essay, but generally using "I + think" makes your opinion feel weaker and takes away from the professionalism of a review. (IMO, anyway.) You have good points in here and minus some irrevelant information, a few grammar and word usage problems, fairly good.

I haven't decided who to vote for, but, I apologize ahead of time, if I sound very rough on the reviews. No harm done, I hope. Keep writing! I will submit my vote soon and let you know!

Yeah, Twilight Q is such a confusing series to describe, I felt too worried with how to get the point of the series across before I realized there should've been more "review" in that review. Still, I hope word's gotten around to some of the folks on these forums! :D

I voted for ohtori_akio's review because it had more content, though I felt L-sama did pretty well too, he just needed a bit more information on the show itself to tie in anyone who was unfamiliar with Dragonball in the first place.

I can't add much more than what AlterGenesis has said so I'll just say that my vote went to ohtori_akio for overall content and flow. However, it was difficult to decide as they were all very fine reviews. L-Sama just needed more content about Dragonball and Milky just needed to tighten things up a bit. Good job to everyone.
