So, you know I'm going to be posting some Madonna. It may totally be out of some of your comfort zones, but this chick has produced some major stuff that shouldn't go unnoticed.

"Bad Girl" by Madonna (http://youtube.com/watch?v=SgxJhEkxBN8)
One of her best story videos and, suprise, the song wasn't a hit!
"Bedtime Story" by Madonna (http://youtube.com/watch?v=j9GXWbDNkkQ)
This was one of her most experimental videos and songs. I love it. It's freaky.
"The Power of Goodbye" by Madonna (http://youtube.com/watch?v=l3Ikjk1UCm0)
This song is amazing. And the visuals are breathtaking.
"Get Together" by Madonna (http://youtube.com/watch?v=KIwnKtL6leQ)
One of her newest. It's really cool. Lookie my siggie! <3

Okay, for some not-Madonna. Mostly Bjork:
"Pagan Poetry" by Bjork (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vQuPqopDvX4) (nudity/sex)
"Cocoon" by Bjork (http://youtube.com/watch?v=4nWnf8scGx0) (fake nudity)
"Bachelorette" by Bjork (http://youtube.com/watch?v=x5nNfbTS6N4) (I believe this was already posted.XD)
"What You Waiting For" by Gwen Stefani (http://youtube.com/watch?v=UNDZDMT9nQo)
"Utopia" by Goldfrapp (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Bk0w3_fbv2I)

That's the one! I knew I was forgetting one of her bests. And it was the nacissist, homoerotic one. It's definately breathtaking. I'm not to into that version of the song, but it's still amazing nonetheless.

Another group I'm mad about is the B-52's. I completely adore them:

An animated Milk Carton's epic adventure.

The Decemberists - 16 Military Wives
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Mbhd4LGR-g

Just to add to Madonna's list here is 'You'll See' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCRjsG5X0G0), one of her earlier classics and my all-time favorite Madonna single. Just like one of the responses posted, "Great song with just an average vocal".

Meanwhile, I can't think of any other music videos more entertaining than this: 'My Band' by Eminem ft. D-12 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0He6WHNVYAI)

I've always had mixed feelings about the song.
I love the video, though, primarily for it being the sequel to "Take a Bow".

And, I must hit myself multiple times in the head for forgetting what MTV titled as 'the most groundbreaking video of all-time' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icrUkBaSefs), which I'd full-heartedly agree with. Not only most groundbreaking, but also most misunderstood. Possibly my favourite video ever, besides 'Isobel'.

As a slight HIM fan, I can say with all confidence that their music videos suck ass and none of them should be posted in this thread.

Some of the videos that came up my mind just a few minutes ago (and I threw in some J-music videos just for kicks):

"Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgiGrXpOhYg)
Their best video ever... 'cause it shows them making the song itself.
"Dearest" by Ayumi Hamasaki (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jTeH761wtw)
My favorite song from Ayu-sama herself from her golden years.
"M" by Ayumi Hamasaki (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xud1Nt_VU_Y)
Gawd, she looks hot in this video... (*-*)
"Don't Speak" by No Doubt (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-OdG98IJ-o)
The song that propelled their name into the hall-of-fame of alternative rock... and Gwen Stefani's.
"New World" by L'Arc~en~Ciel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gw1m9vdur9w)
Yeah, Hyde and his band of misfits have done it again on this video...!

First off I used AOL speak twice and I make sure to not use it on this forum in general. I forgot to reread my post and look for errors. Secondly, I was in a rush when writing the earlier post so I read the first post but not the rest, and lastly the video on youtube is easy to find, type in the tile and author and you have it right there. I didn't give you a link becuase I was in a rush and I highly doubt people would be so lazy as to not just type in the search term, I guess I was wrong when it comes to you. Also I don't think its a bad music video so you can't call me out on that either since it comes down to opinion. And here is the link since you apparently cared so much to complain about my post.

You calling me an idiot comes off as ridiculous since my earlier post wasn't even off topic. You a) need anger management, b) have some other problem, or c) were in a bad mood and decided to make a horrible post in repsonse to a rushed post.

I thought it would be better to put forward the video without the link so there is a small contribution vs. no contribution at all. Also its never specified specifically that a link must be included to the video. Although it may be assumed thats the case, however unless its written that I must post a link I can't be faulted for the lack of direction. It says post a video, which I took to mean post the title and author of a good video on youtube and adding a link would be helpfull.

If you aren't going to contribute fully to the thread, than there's no need to post at all. In this thread, contributing fully means posting a video. The title of the thread is "Let's find good music videos on YouTube" not "Let's list music videos that we like."

Since it seems necessary that this rule be completely spelled out, I will now go edit the first post of this thread to reflect it.

From this point forward, all posts without a link to a video will be deleted.

Words of advice:

The more fundamental issue here is not about posting a link to music videos that rocks your cradle, but the fact that you do not have the time (i.e. rushed) to post replies properly. Here's what I think - post whenever you have the time, not when you have no time. If you post in such a manner, I doubt people would give a damn about your postings because they can safely assume that you didn't put effort in posting effective postings.

Simply put, the less effort you seemingly put into postings (I know this isn't the case), the less effort people will put in reading them.

I just love the Yellow Magic Orchestra, they're one of the reasons I love older electronic music.

Some favorites

Taiso (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dbvbb_yCKUI&mode=related&search=) - A fun video that's very quirky, and up anyone's alley if they love a weird video.

And why not the live version of Taiso! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RgxuHs3Icjg&mode=related&search=) (audio quality not as good)

Nice Age (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8Wf1ZJER1Q) - Their catchiest song ever, I love bobbing my head to this electronic treat! :D

1000 Knives (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GznecDBMPFk&mode=related&search=) - My personal favorite performance, it's so well put together in its compositions, and I just love watching old concerts like this one (dig the use of colors?)

Behind the Mask (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8IMbm4apE0) - I used to have this in my sig, but I'm bringing it back because it sounds that damn good, another fine performance.

Some Ryuichi Sakamoto as well!

Risky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d-JMWU4Qbw) - with Iggy Pop, a very soothing listen!

Neo Geo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOCOkYYw0as) - interesting in it's own right, and rather unique with its mixture of genres.

If anyone likes Jamiroquai, which I do a lot, this is my new favorite song by him and it's a pretty cool music video. It's an old song from "A Funk Odyssey," but I never really knew it before a few months ago.

I found a spit-load of great AMVs, but I'm not allowed to put any URLs yet. Just look for "Lucifer's Angel". It's an awesome song by The Rasmus which goes well with any anime, it seems. The Rurouni Kenshin AMV and the Rei Ayanami AMV go especially well with this song. Rock out, everyone!

Also, the search "Hellsing + Padre Nuestro" will give you a nice AMV.
