I know ive talked about them before, but i coudn't find any thread about them. Anyway i love this band, they bring back classic 80s power metal (No screaming, but actually singing) i love the guitraist, and their new album Inhuman Rampage is excellent. Does anybody else listen to them?

Dragonforce is power metal at its best. My friend introduced me to their music and it's great. I agree that the guitarist emits some awesome sound. It's goood stuffz.

I have their two perviously released CD's and I really enjoy them when I'm DOING something. (ie: snowboarding, mowing etc) if I'm just sitting around they're alright but not as good... they're like a band that really gets me pumped and going.
I love the guitar and drums and all that jazz, I'm honestly not too fond of the singers voice. It's simply an aquired taste for me, the lyrics are cheesy but I love them to death haha.
I love Dragonforce. Herman and Sam are guitar gods who walk on this earth. I'd love to see them live, and I still think you're a lucky bastard for having a photo taken with Herman, Lupin!

Blind Guardian and/or Sonata Arctica is power metal at it's best. o: But Dragonforce is pretty good too, judging from the few songs I've heard.

I'm into Dragonforce too. Their style reminds me alot of Kamelot and Blind Guardian. I liked that Heart of a Dragon song quite a bit. But as said, you have to be doing something when listening to it. It's too fast paced to be just sitting around, listening to it. Speaking of fast, can they ever pick up the pace of wailing on those gitar strings. Fun stuff.

and also talking to Sam and Herman after their set was done. That was pretty cool thing. We talk about how shitty avenged Sevenfold is. It was awsome!

Kamelot is alright but I wouldn't compare them to Dragon Force (well, at least the little I've heard of them) they remind me of (I hope I spell this right!) Edugy (?????) I've got a few of their songs and I enjoy them but idk, I wouldn't classify it or compare them to DF... but than again maybe I only have ballads by those two >.>
I don't really have a "favorite" DF song, a lot of them sound similar, I just generally have a liking towards them =p

This is what happens when you give nerds guitars and a brand new set of D&D books.
That said, it does make for good background music for long combats in a session.
