Dir En Grey tour of '07

Japanese Rock Band Dir En Grey will be having a tour in the US and Canada next February. They'll actually be headlining this time, as opposed to the Family Values tour, although opening bands have not been announced.

Interestingly enough, their concert in Baltimore will be at the same venue as the Mucc/Nana Kitade concert of Otakon '06.

I've unhappily resigned myself to the fact that no Jrock band I like will ever come to the UK. Meh.

Still, even if I did live in America, the complete shittiness of Dir en grey's (just one capital letter :p) latest single 'Agitated Screams of Maggots' would completely put me off seeing 'em anyway. >_>

I hope you guys who get to see them have a good time, though.

I'm mad and jealous. I want to see them in concert again. *sigh*

Their music is not as good live as on their cds, so Dir en grey newbies should definitely listen to the albums first before seeing them live. But their raw energy is awesome to see, and I always love singing along with them and lots of hardcore fans when they perform "The Final."

As I said, I'm jealous. Their concert at the Wiltern last March was just so damn cool to be at, and I want to go there again to watch them play again.
