Does this ever annoy you? I realize on some series, they end up having releasing half a dozen "directors cut" CDs or "piano editions," but some series have great music that just doesn't show up anywhere.
For example, my favorite song from Wolf's Rain was during episode 20, around 13mins. It's a really nice piano piece with a lot of tension in it, something you usually get in violins. Of all the songs that didn't make it in the 46-track sound track, it was this one--the one where Kiba is getting seperated from his "dream girl."
Anyone know if there is a seperate CD for the series with the missing tracks (I know there were several that never showed up in the soundtrack), or does Yoko Kanno have the final say on what's on her CDs, and she used her "artistic liscence to limit our choises?" (Though I find this unlikely, with the sheer number of CDs and songs from the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack).
I remembered getting the Infinite Ryvius soundtracks and also, the best song (IMO), another riveting piano piece, was missing, at the end of episode 24, where the main character was coming in to save the day. Argh...its always the good songs that aren't on the soundtrack.
