I assume not, but you never know.

My problem:

I'm a retard and decided I wanted to password/pin protect my phone (a samsung SGH-T619, the cute silver one ;) ) and I had forgotten my original pin/password so I just fiddled with a bunch that I thought it could possibly be and it locked up my whole phone. I can only call 911 now (which I learned the hard way >.> )

Solution (thus far):

I called costomer service before I even got that far and they said to keep trying at my password/pin until it asked for a PUK number which Samsung could give me. Well, I kept trying and eventually it said "You have 2 attempts left at your Pin... 1.... PIN BLOCKED! CALL COSTOMER CARE!" So, after freaking out, I did.

I called Samsung first to see if they had anything to say and basically it was "Send us your phone for a month (21 business days) and we'll erase everything off of it! Have a jolly nice day!" :hanged

Screw that.

I called CC again and talked to this very nice boy about my issues. We tried some stuff, punching in weird numbers, trying to call out etc. etc. and finally we came to the solution to bring it into the t-mobile store (which I had already planned on doing after the phone was blocked) but he told me that they might be able to save the info on my phone.... but they might erase it too.

I'm going in either tonight or Thursday.

Anyone else have this type of problem with T-mobile, the same phone or just their own phone in general? Any different solution that you came up with? How did you solve a similar problem? etc. etc.

Any help is cool!

That happened to me before, and all I did was punch in the PUK, problem solved! My cp's a Nokia though, I don't know how Samsung works, but it should be basically the same.

Problem solved! Lol, while doing chem today, I switched my SIM card with my Mothers (she has a nokia) and it asked for the PUK number right away, I was extatic (sp?) to say the least. I called and got the number and the problem was gone! I still have all my files AND I know my PIN ;)

Go T-Mobile.

By chem do you mean Chem class? If so I might wonder what you were doing with your mother's sim chip while in school. Just wondering

I would assume chem homework. I also checked if chem was slang for any drugs; it's not.

I was, I'm currently going to this shitty college >.>' I'm transferring to an university next fall though.

And it was homework.

lol kyubichan, I'm acutally considering trying to figure out my password now (a seperate code from my PIN) but I'm afraid I might end up in the same situation >.>
