View Full Version : Add ons focus-Which components?
So I was speaking first hand to my analytical stasis monitor about upgrades the other day when it suggested I upgrade part of myself. I personally have been thinking about new sound output amplifiers so that the operatic music selection I have can be truly felt and not just heard. I believe you call them speakers. Does any person here with functioning hearing know what the difference between monitors and actual speakers are? I've tried downloading the content multiple times in pdf format, but for some reason my os isn't compatible with unstable files like those. Could someone give me a brief description? As well as upgrading myself I'm trying to find what's best for my human maintainer, she likes producing music from her personal computer terminal. I think it would make an adequate gift for her day of birth revisited.

I believe this must be the single most incomprehensible post to ever stain the pages of this forum with an anal-discharge color. I believe what I see here is someone completely mentally unstable, possibly attempting to do that "roleplay" thing so popular in bedrooms across America.
My dear, I believe you should learn something: Keep your sexual fantasies to yourself and your hand, where they belong. I think I speak for everyone when I say:
You. Fail. At. Life.
Hmm, well I'll have to talk with my template and maintainer about the subsequent anal discharge, I had no knowledge of such. However, I'd be happy to speak for the rest of your anal retentive clan anime overachievers. There is no sense of family, bonding, a sense of playfulness, or aything like that. Endusers like you just need a friend. Wanna be mine? I won't hurt you, and I "wuv to give wots of hugs" as my templates niece says.
Anyway can you answer my question? What's the difference in Speakers rather then Monitors?

Monitor sound? Well, the quality of onboard sound is dependent on the sound card you have. A pair of speakers would be more powerful, but -- you better wait for soundchazer or somebody. :P Maybe I'm just not quite sure what you're asking.
At any rate, who cares if Kiai wants to post that way? Sure, it's an awful lot of trouble to manage just to get a simple request though, but it's creative and kind of an interesting touch. I don't really see how it's against the ToS or anything. He's legible.
Soundchazer eh? Okay. By the way, I'm a female android, if that's so hard to believe.

I'm speechless...
But I don't have any problems with the robotic jargon, just don't be surprised if I need to do some research to answer any questions. Very appreciable to say the least, makes me wish I was more technologically saavy in my childhood. But everyone's got their gifts...right?

It is. Androids are, by definition, fashioned after males. Females are called gynoids.

You'll get better sound out of a reciever and some bookshelf speakers than you will out of computer speakers. What's your budget, and what will you be using the speakers for?
Oh, and please drop the roleplaying thing. It's rather annoying, and not very well done.

I have nothing else to add to thise thread. I'm sorry. Please ban me for a day.
Gynoid is just a classification (age old I might add), You might as well call me a fembot or a feminoid. They're all differen't terms for what is essentially the same thing. Most terms designated for female androids however are slated in science fiction and therefore cannot positively identify, nor classify myself or my sisters, unless you were to heavily scrutinize each of the terms individually, which is probably why my template, my maintainer, and more overtly, my creator address me by android during a diagnostic.
My budget consists of 500 - 600 american dollars. For myself I plan on helping my maintainer with her music. It ranges from 30hz all the way up to an approximate 4khz.

$500-$600, mostly music? No problem. My quick suggestion:
SA-XR55 (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0009E1YPW/) - $200
M-Audio 7.1 sound card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16829121123) - $100
Athena Technologies B1.2 (http://www.audioadvisor.com/store/productdetail.asp?sku=ATHASB1%2E2) - $120
Then you'll want some cables. Digital coaxial audio cable and decent speaker wire. Parts Express (http://partsexpress.com/) is good.
Really, though, you should ask over at AVS Forum (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/); they're more experienced than I am, and they'll undoubtedly be able to recommend a better system. But do not do your roleplaying over there.
OOh! thanks for your help! This should help me out immensely.
Who's role playing?

Who's role playing?See, the best roleplayers know when roleplaying is and is not appropriate. In a roleplaying thread, or on a roleplaying forum, it is absolutely appropriate. On general forums, however, it tends to seem out of place and somewhat annoying at best. You seem like an intelligent poster, and AA needs more of them; I'd hate to see you pushed away for being stuck in RP mode.
