By this I mean for Example DBZ Berserk Alichino any normal sized Manga
Normally with a volume of manga I'll fly right through it (less than a half hour of reading normally), and then I'll pick it up again a day or so later and read it more slowly, paying more attention to the artowrk and whatnot.

Same. xD That is if we're talking about the typical 150-200 page manga. xD with a manga like....Akira for example (Which, if you have read it, you would know it's pretty darn complicated and BIG) I would read slowly right off the bat, appreciating the art (sometimes drawing it) and finding quotes I may want to use in the future to confuse people.

I'm a very slow reader, whether it's manga or a novel. I tend to stare at one page for a very long time. I feel the need to absorb everything on each page. It definitely takes me more than a day to finish one manga. I've been having this problem with Berserk lately. I get bored reading manga really fast and it becomes frustrating. I guess I should just stick with moving pictures.

A regular 200-page manga takes me less than 45 minutes if I have no interruptions.

I'm a slow reader as well. I really love to stare at the art, or stop for a while and think about how I think the story will progress. Sometimes I read and then go back and read an earlier part again. So it usually takes me a few hours for a thorough reading. Not a day, but more than an hour for sure.
I also have a bad habit of reading one volume or chapter and then not reading the next one for a really long time, during which I forget the details of what happened. Then I end up going back to the previous volume to figure out what's going on again. So it's always two steps forward and one step back for me, but I get through it eventually.

It depends on the manga. Love Hina used to take me 2+ hours per book, where I can usually get through a volume of Kare Kano in about 30-45 minutes.

About an hour for me, I take time to read and look at all the details incase I see somthing funny.

Due to the extreme time contraints to my schedule... I read manga using my secret technique - lightspeed skimming (avg time - 10 mins)

It depends on the thickness and type of manga. I usually spend about 40 minutes on a manga, but for some of the more wordy ones (like Deathnote) it may take more than an hour. MaR is the only manga I can fly through in 15 minutes or so. It's just increadibly fast paced and has plenty of action and not much talking. Though I would love to buy MaR for the art style. I wonder what the anime is like since the manga is so fast paced...

A volume of a manga would take me about 30 minutes to read, if I read at my normal pace, and don't take as much time to admire the art. But usually I'll like to take the time to admire the artwork as well, so it takes me roughly 45 minutes to an hour to read, depending on how absorbed I am.
However, if you're talking about just one chapter of a manga, like Naruto or Bleach, I can usually tear through them in about 5 - 7 mins.

Usually about an hour at most for me, but I love re-reading the same manga again and again, so I prefer to skim through it the first couple times I read it, noticing new things each time. ^^
It takes me anywhere between 3-5 hours to read a volume, specificly Berserk since that's the only thing I'm reading at the moment. I'm a very slow reader, I like to take my time and stare at the pages.

Usually a couple of hours. I try not to rush through it, and enjoy the artwork, etc.
So Panic.

I'm a very visual person so reading a manga to me is more about observing the pictures and how they flow in comparison to the words to create the story. It takes me a nice little amount of time so I voted for Day, it's probably closer to 8 hours altogether if I correctly added up the time.
Generally, once I finish it I'll skim through it and bookmark any pages I found particularly interesting or that I didn't understand (since I'm still quite new to this, it's mostly vocabulary and Japanese culture references that I'm not familiar with). Later I may also mark the pages with exceptional artwork.
i read through once just to get the story, then come back about a day later and really look at the drawings and read it again...i'm werid that way. :) Hey! i figure if i pay THAT much for it, i might as well get the best of it!

I read mine bits at a time during my break at work, this means I read one section a day on average. I also read any novels a chapter at a time in the same token, which means I progress rather slowly doing it like this.
If I were reading at home, being I'll sometimes stop and ponder when I'm through a book, it could take a couple of hours (depending on what exactly I'm reading). But I find myself reading more at my workplace than at home, though I've definitely read at home at times (if I'm real hard up for finding out what happens next), just so happens I find myself doing different things at home as well besides reading (writing, playing video games, watching anime/movies).

It usually takes an hour for me to go through a volume of a manga, with Rurouni Kenshin being my prime example.

I'll usually speed through one in half an hour, depending on how good it is. If the artwork is really, really good, I might take longer (to enjoy it), or if there's confusing action going on or dialogue that makes no sense (to figure out what the hell is going on).

Well... An hour is my average... I may take longer, depending on how much I enjoy reading a manga... If I read enough captivating storyline or jaw-dropping artwork, I would definitely take my time to read it... If I like it enough, I may even read some pages over and over again...

Well, it all really depends on the manga and how into it I am at the moment and my mood. If the manga is really interesting I could finish it in an half an hour to an hour.

I try to make my manga last. I may read only a chapter a day. That way, I can concentrate more on the story and less on wanting to finish it. (I also get my money's worth...) =]

Technically speaking, I can finish a manga within a mere hour but by doing so, I'll feel as though I've slapped myself in the face. Why? Manga is something that isn't easy to get here in my place (and not to mention how bloody costly it is!).
I wouldn't buy a manga for US$12 (yes, it costs so here in my country) just so that I can finish reading in an hour, so I'll deliberately read it s-l-o-w-l-y and appreciate every inch of the goddamn page itself.
Sorry for sounding a little peeved off, but it's frustrating sometimes if you can understand what I'm meaning.

"you're", silly boy. And London isn't a country. o:
Anyway, with me it largely depends on the title. XD Naruto is a fast and easy read. Death Note takes a bit longer, and Excel Saga takes even longer because of all the witty, clever and difficult words. XD But it's well worth it!

For me it only takes about 15 to 20 minutes if I stop to appreciate the art. Bleach only takes about 5, but I'd say I read pretty fast considering that I can finish a 1000 page book in about 18 hours.

Pff. Depending on how badly I've wanted to read the manga...and ALSO how long it is. If it's a new series to me and it's a pretty standard length, generally it'll take me an hour or two...but if it's one I've been looking forward to for a while, I'll finish it off in around 45 minutes to an hour. :3~
...What can I say...? D: Saikano was a bitchin' manga/anime series.
Less than an hour but I will reread it once I am finished when I have the extra time.

It takes me about a half an hour for a series I really like and an hour for the others. When I let my friends borrow them I don't understand how it takes them days to finish one book.

It depends on the content of the manga. If there's a lot of text to plow through and a lot of information to absorb, it's about 1 1/2 to 2 hours per volume. If the manga's simple and straightforward then about 30 mins to 1 hour.
I did a comparison of my speed last week: I went through 6 complete volumes of the romantic fluff, Zettai Kareshi, in 4 hours, while it took 6 hours to go through 4 volumes of the dialogue-laden (albeit action-packed) Tokyo Crazy Paradise. <--- And that's then I was trying to speed through it all. xD;

A single volume is half an hour at the most. I read quickly.
When I let my friends borrow them I don't understand how it takes them days to finish one book.
Me too. It suprises me it takes some people a month to read a manga book. Back to the topic, i normally read a manga book in less than thirty minutes first, just to know the story. Later, i look back and admire the artwork and, if i have nothing better to do, i spend several days looking at and rereading my favorite parts

To read a manga it probably takes me to about an hour's time. I like to really look over the art and extra sound effects, or manga-ka notes.

Depends on what it is, if its a new story it takes me two days. If its a continuing volume of a Manga i've already read then takes between two - three hours.

I'll read a manga in about fourty five minutes or sometimes half an hour if I put my mind to it. But I'll reread parts of it later to absorb things better.

To me, it depends on what genre it is. If it's an action manga, or at least one with a lot of fight scenes, it'll take me less time, say 20-30 minutes. If it's a romantic comedy, I'll probably spend about 40 minutes reading it. The longest it's ever taken me to read a manga was an 1 hour 15 minutes, because it was Trigun, and that is a whopper of a manga. o__x
I'd say my average is about 35 minutes per manga.
Usually about an hour here, more if I'm really into the artwork and I stop to savour it now and then...

Typically around 30 minutes to an hour.
Not very long, but not very short either, depending on how good it is, if this can be considered an answer at all. I sure hope I don't sound like a spammer.

It usually takes me around 1 or 2 days to get through a manga volume. Half of that is because I have to strain my eyes pretty bad to read (even with glasses I end up pushing it after awhile) and the other half is because I'll put it down somewhere and not pick it up for awhile. :)
