Hey AA!
I never do the whole spam a website for gain thing, but I'll have to make an exception. There's a radio station in Australia called Triple J who produce the Triple J Unearthed (http://www.triplejunearthed.com/) competition. They're one of the biggest radio stations in the nation and alot of aussie bands have had their big break through this or at least got a bit more of a fanbase.
My sister's band Butcher Birds (http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists/View.aspx?artistid=5608) (my sister is the black-haired woman on camera-right) had entered and are hoping to increase their popularity. Basically if you get plays and ratings, you get higher on the charts, and the higher you get on the charts, the more likely you will get radio play, and radio play = love.
They sound a little like Veruca Salt and play some good ol' fashion grunge. :headbang:
Please help out by going here (http://www.triplejunearthed.com/registration/whyregister.aspx) and registering yourself as an unearthed member, then go back to the Butcher Birds (http://www.triplejunearthed.com/Artists/View.aspx?artistid=5608) artist page, play their songs and rate it (preferably a 5!). My favourite is "Mower".
And just so it's not all me spamming my sister's band, if you become a member, go back to the main page and click on other bands, there's some really good music in this competition. Give them all a listen!
