If you had to choose but one song to listen to the only one you could EVER listen to. what would it be? Think hard?

Nothing. Just keep the songs I do know in my head. I could never answer such a question.

This is not a lot like choosing to listen just one song before you die, or in general your favorite song, or any other weird thread in here ?¿

Enh,, no idea, Maybe The Way / Fastball, the first one that pop in my head...

Probably either Distortion Sleep by Soilwork, or Staring At The Sun by TV On The Radio. Both good songs that I don't seem to get tired of.

Ave Verum Corpus by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart or Firecracker by Lisa Loeb.

Well, since as others have said all songs eventually get old and incredibly annoying, I'll just go with the song of which I get tired least easily: "Consequence Free", by Great Big Sea.

The one song I can ever listen to :\ ? This is one tough question, because seriously, many songs get stale very quickly. Probably the only song that I haven't get sick of until now is Radiohead's Street Spirit (Fade Out).

Apparently, songs that have very symbolic lyrics tend a longer-lasting impression on me.

Beethoven's 9th Symphony. There's enough there to keep anyone busy for years.

Hmmm... there's too much pressure to this question. I can't simply choose one song. XD

Ugh... such a hard choice...

I can't pick one exactly.. ooooh..

It's a three-way tie between Mashou no Tenshi(HxH), INSPIRE(Ayumi Hamasaki) and Evolution(Ayumi Hamasaki).

Don't make Pan-Pan choose!

I'd have to stick to my favorite song. After 5 years of listening to it almost every day, I don't think I'll get tired of it :)

I'd have to go with Wave of Mutilation - by the Pixies. Makes me want to get into my car and just drive till I run out of road.

Glancing over at my Last.fm charts, I don't really see anything that stands out as my most favorite song evar... I can say with absolute certainty that it won't be Grillz. -.-

I wouldn't want to go with a sweet, lovey dovey song, because what if one day I'm feeling like I just want to play some totally rad air guitar? Then again, I don't really think I should pick a hard song because what if one day I just want to listen to something mellow? Hmm... I think maybe Scorpions - Still Loving You would be a nice compromise between those two. It isn't J-Music and it isn't (c)rap, you won't find any Fergalicious undertones in the song, yet I still enjoy listening to it. It's like an oldie but goodie to me. <.<;

And please forgive the rambling, it's almost four in the morning and for some reason I refuse to sleep. :)

Isn't this basically just a "What's your favourite song" thread? I mean, why wouldnt you pick your favourite song if there was only one song you cold ever listen to? It's usually your favourite for a reason, such as never getting tired of it.

I could never pick just one song, since there are so many different moods that you can have through your life, and one song just isn't going to cut it. So I'd rather have no music than to have to choose or get tired of my favourite songs. However, I will pick one song, since I'll only be using it in a certain circumstance. "Remember Me" from the Initial D soundtrack. Now that's a great song for me to do some driving in. If there's one place that I need to bust out a song, it's certainly in a car.

The original Pokemon Theme Song!!! I know it by heart, in public I randomly burst out singing it, and that's all I really liked about the show. Although, the Amazing Spider-Man Theme is equally matched. Hmmm...:XD:

To simply answer your question it would have to be any Journey song.

There is absolutely no single song I could listen to forever. I do have my favourites, but I'm pretty sure that they'd get old real fast and I'd no longer want to hear them for safety of my ears. That's the great thing about music; it changes over time, often for the better.

Now? Madonna's "Holiday". That is one song, I think, that'll last forever.

Victors Piano Solo from The Corpse Bride.

I lisented to that song thirty-two times in a row and it's still not old >.< (just short) each time I come upon it in my iTunes playlist I have to play it at least twice too... that's been going on since I first downloaded the song.
