What's a little bit... odd about this situation?

Here, I'll even give you a hint:

Seriously... what the ****, mate!? ;_;' It's actually even worse now; I took that picture about 5 minutes ago. My cat is sitting at the window looking out with this complete "WTF?" look on her face like she's a 6 year old watching porn.

It's too early for snow, I have my whole womanhood ahead of me!! ;___;''

Well, as Itachi said in his sneakily deleted post, the snow has stopped now, thankfully ;____; There's still some on cars and a bit on the ground, but hopefully it's gone for now. Still damn freaky, though.

That is a new expresion I had not heard before. It was kind of embarrasing when I went to see my administrative assistant next door and asked her the question "uhmm... Rachel... what does "being on the rag" means?"

You should have seen the look she gave me.

Thanks Mana... you just made me go all colors and blush furiously to a very deep shade of crimson.

OK. So I wake up at 9:30, pull the shades up, and OMGWTFWTFBBQWTF??!??!?!?!!? It's white. Everything's white. Yar, snow in f*&*ing October. Though I have seen snow in September before in Colorado, so whatever.

So I ran to gym in my gym shorts, and played badminton for an hour. Came out, snow's all gone. Almost no white whatsoever. It's like whatever I saw this morning was all a mirage or something.

The weather is seriously messed up in Chicagoland. I really don't know what I should wear everyday. I'm surprised I'm not really sick yet.

Snow in September in Colorado is nothing. With teh mountains and whatnot, they get all sorts of weird weather like that, and at least they have an excuse for it. Our snow this morning had no excuse, none.

I see snow, and cars slowly collecting it in piles.

Quite depressing. I love fall breezes, so I don't like nature deciding to skip them and go straight for the snow.

I prefer the cold... yesterday was the warmest October day in Melbourne since 92 years ago. And that means drought... big big drought... many farmers are going to be left without an income this season. Water restrictions are at an all time high and I probably should clean my car one of these days before they're enforced even more. I hate hot days.

Uhmm... for those of you in the U.S., keep in mind that even though it is called the English system, only the U.S. keeps using Fahrenheit, feet and pounds as their main sources of measuring the world around them. For the rest of us it is celsius, meters and kilograms.

I do say. I believe that it would be a good idea for the people posting in fahrenheit to make a quick celsius convertion for those who live "out there, in the rest of the world".

It is easy... you only need to select the option metric units in the weather channel webpage.

Ugh, it's stinking up here too summer isn't even close to starting.

In south-east Queensland, we're already in the middle of our worst drought in 100 years and Brisbane has level 3 water restrictions, which means a complete ban on hoses and sprinklers (you can only water things with a bucket). Our dams are down to below 30%. By November they expect them to be down to 25%, which means level 4 water restrictions from November 1 onwards (only using water on specified days).

If we don't get a good rainy season in this year, we run out of water.

Mana

If there was still more snow on the ground here, I'd mail it down to you guys; sure, it would melt by the time it gets there, that's the point. :3

For those Celcius people out there:

Right now, it's actually a little bit colder than yesterday, with actual temperatures about about -.5 C and a wind chill of -7.2 C.

Holy crap! 30% ... Damn dude, and I thought our 43% here was bad. I'm not sure if we'll be reaching level 4 yet, but from the looks of things, it's bad indeed. Curse that hole in the ozone layer :XD:

And we still don't have it the worst. Toowoomba's at level 5 water restrictions, yet they still won't get recycled water becasue of their 'EEWWWW! THEY'LL BE PUMPING SHIT INTO OUR DRINKING WATER" attitude. What's worse is the anti-water-recycling movement there thinks that by having this attitude that aren't being ignorant morons.

Anti-water-recycling?

We're in a crisis here in this country. I mean, do they think the water that fell out of the sky didn't at some point in time evaporate from someone's pissing hole across the street from their house?

Man, if it snows in NH this week I'm going to be mad. I was just there, and snow in New England is one of my favorite things in the world.

We get screwy weather here in Spokane. It's down to 27/-3 at night, and as warm as 72/22 during the day. We're in the transition period right now; every year we get about three weeks of bearable weather in autumn and three in spring. Other than that, we have two main seasons: Too Damn Hot, and Too Damn Cold.

Beats Bellingham, though. Over there we had four seasons like everyone else, but they were Rain, More Rain, Freezingass Cold Rain, and July.

I don't think we here in SA are that bad yet. I can't seem to find our humidity level, but today was 27 degrees, not too bad. Looking at 31 tomorrow, and mid to low 20's for the rest of the week. However, I bet by the end of October we'll have be in the 30's range on a regular basis, and be stepping up water restrictions even more.

But we've had our fire ban season brought forward by an entire month. I think there are only 3 districts in the entire state that do not have a total fire bans in place. We are definately in for a very dry summer.

So Panic.
