Mahou Sensei Negima! OVA Haru

Well... the completely needless OVA is here. It is quite noticeable that the production values are higher, and they did a better job with the comedic timing than the TV series, but I don't understand the completely revamped character designs. They look less like the characters in the manga than the original anime, and quite honestly, that works against the OVA.

As for the story, it will be an abridged version of the manga (yet again).

If you didn't like Negima the first time around, I would sugest you skip this one too.

I liked the manga a lot... Quite a lot really... But the anime was, how should say it? Really annoying is a good description... I hate the fact that they used an entire 6 episodes to cover the first volume, which wasn't really that eventful anyway... I hate the fact that they modified and rearranged some events dramatically... And I really hate that they omitted the Kyoto arc... Though I really liked Evangeline... she was cool...
As for its OVA, I really hope they kept more to the manga in its production...

I am big fan of Negima and can't wait to get Vol. 3. I didn't get to see the whole thing but I can get it when it cames out in the US.

Actually, this thread is NOT about the TV series, but the OVA. Please refer to the TV series thread for your post, or at least try to tie it to the OVA in a graceful manner.
