PEOPLE! STOP BOOTLEGGING ANIME FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. It is illegal. If you get caught, you will pay a large sum for a fine and possibly spend time in jail.
2. The companies don't get your money. If they don't, they will go out of business. If they go out of business, there is no one to make anime for you.

Thanks for telling us something we don't know. And it's not a very good idea to have the use of CAPS like that, as well as telling off the whole forum (for something that many people here don't do).

Personally, I do think bootlegs suck. It's also a crappy thing to go on Ebay, and buy a bootlegged CD, thinking it's a genuine copy of an anime volume. But you don't really need to go and flip out about this. Do you really think that noone here knew about this issue yet, or that it needed to be voiced in such a way? In fact, the site does the opposite of promoting bootlegs here. What brought all of this on anyways? Did someone sell you a bootleg and rip you off $20?
