I wasn't sure whether I should put this in celebrations or not.

Honestly, though I am an Eagles fan and I hate him for what he did to our team, I feel bad. Such a pathetic man.

While it is a pity, I don't know if it was worth putting up a thread about it. All in all, it will be the usual "I feel sorry for him" and "The dude's such a loser and quitter for doing that"
Then we'll eventually get into the subject of suicide, which has been (most likely) discussed before since it's such a specific and commin topic if terms of psychological, sociological and perhaps personal meaning.
Don't get me wrong, it's alright to post it up, but most of us have probably already read it in the newspaper or on the news on TV.
In my opinion, I'n not surprised at all. Someone that famous in football was bound to fall under the pressure, and regardless if it was Terrell Owens or not, it's a shame.

Terrell Owens didn't commit suicide, those pills tried to kill him.
Don't look at me like that, I know he didn't mean it...
Ok, ok! He felt some extra pain and multiplied his dosage by how painful his injury was feeling. In which case, a lotta dosage!
Actually he's kidding, and wanted some extra attention by pulling a "Punk'd" and making us wish he'd come back and do...T.O. stuff.
Seriously, it is sad. I mean, money and fame will ultimately drive you into a serious corner, and T.O. couldn't handle the pressure (he probably felt like he had a lot to live up to). But that's only a guess, since at the least, he was having some emotional trouble in his life (that is for certain). Hopefully he gets himself back together, and doesn't need those pills any longer, given pain killers are "side effects" hell.

It is not confirmed yet. There are conflicting reports on this, some indicating that he was having an allergic reaction, which is not new. Parcells talked about it on a press conference a couple of days ago.
I will wait and see how this unfolds before I give an opinion.

Wow, that means the first sentence in my last post might be right!
Ok, I'll stop it and wait...

TO comes out and clears the air, stating that he did not attempt suicide, but rather suffered from an allergic reaction due to a combination of painkiller pills he was taking for his thumb. It seems like another case of the media being the media, and trying to sell us speculation as "facts". It's a sad state of affairs when you know that those reporters are probably thinking, "damn, I wish he was actually attempting suicide...it would've made for a better story".

And who truly cares about this? Not me.
