Your thoughts on bleach dubbed

How do you think they did on the dubbing of bleach on adult swim?:thumbdown

No offense, but I think that there is another thread (http://www.animeacademy.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23305) with three pages about it already. No one died and made me a mod or anything, I just don't see the point in having two threads about the same thing, especially when both are quite recent. >_>

I thought it was average, but nothing more. I certainly like it better than the Naruto dub, and Ichigo's voice is probably the one that seems to fit a character the most right. Still, it could be better. Then again, I haven't seen many of the other characters appear yet, so I'll have to hold my final judgement a little while more.

Wow, why'd you even bother posting in this thread? Seriously.

Anyway, the Bleach dub turned out very well, although that was to be expected, as Viz tries very hard with titles they know have a large fanbase. They're not like that "other company" here on the east coast that only cares about money and getting rid of rice balls.

Can you elaborate on why you don't like the dub? Just posting an emoticon means nothing other than the fact that you can't back up your opinion with words. And when, or if, you do explain your opinion, please refrain from saying "omg they butchered it lol" and the like. You need to provide REAL reasons for not liking the dub.

I was the one that created the other thread, but to answer your question:

I thought they weren't too shabby, although I preferred their Japanese voices. Furthermore, I thought they should have used someone else's for Ichigo's voice, I don't have anyone in mind but they ought to have used someone else that would have matched his character better. This is my opinion - nothing more. Don't get me wrong, I am not a sub purist because I enjoy anime in both English and Japanese voicing.
