Very, very, very good luck with that. Becoming a real, money-making poker pro is not an easy feat. Unless you are uncannily lucky or a very good statician, you're gonna have a rough time.

If you're in on making a lot of money, then maybe a good bet would be to start in larger scale, low buy-in tournaments without re-buy in. That way you can turn $20 into a sizeable sum (couple hundred, maybe a thousand or so) without too much risk involved (after all, you can't lose more than the buy-in). And, if you can't do this (I'm assuming you do have experience with poker, of course), then you'll be in deep trouble trying to become a pro. Higher-level tournaments usually draw very good players to the field.

Remember, it's not so much about luck - there is a reason most pros always end up in the money.

Ditto. Don't bet on playing poker to win big, 'coz chances are, you'll lose more than you win. Get a job - it'll take awhile to sum up, but at least you can control the stash in your own hands rather than leaving it to chance.

The liqour stores around here don't have anything good --
