Okay, lets' try this. But let's not go "I went to the Warped Tour and it was fun." Try to go deeper than that. Things you liked, didn't like, the audience, opening bands, whatever.

I went to see Jeff Beck last night. While I'm not usually the type of guy who can just listen to pure instrumentals, Beck(not to be confused with indie/alternative musician Beck) is a guitar God. Rave about Hendrix, Page and Clapton, Beck stands tall amongst them.

The concert was a pure joy. The music was incredible, he even had a guest singer to sing some of the older tunes Rod Stewart used to sing. Personal favorites were Bolero, Angels and Brush with the blues. He did a great cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow as well. It was beautiful. I am dissapointed he did not play his famous cover of The Beatles's Day in the Life I still left the concert fufilled and with a big smile on my face.

The last concert I can remember going to was The Steve Miller Band in
1997.I prefer studio music than live concerts though. Which is why I don't go to many if any concerts.

Last concert I went to?

It was Ozzfest 2006, but the only band I really paid attention to was SoaD. Beause by then we had scored actual seats as opposed to the grass. On the grass, all I paid attention to was the hot British Punk dude in front of me.

Family Values Tour 2006.

I admit it, I went only for Dir en grey. I was surrounded on all sides by pot-smoking KoRn fans dressed in black, sticking out like a sore thumb in a green shirt with no fashionable rips in it and not a chain in sight on my outfit. I don't remember the few second stage bands I saw. I was too busy trying to avoid getting hit by flying beach balls and dodging spilling beer from the drunks around me.

Dir en grey was awesome to see again, although the feel was all wrong. It's just not fun being one of a whole ten people standing up in the stands and dancing. Much better in a small theatre, crushed against screaming fellow fans.

Anyway, I enjoyed the music they played, despite the one annoying KoRn fan who kept screaming at them to get off the stage. Amusingly enough, he almost got into a full-out fistfight with a female Dir en grey fan. That would have been interesting to see.

I didn't stay to watch anyone else afterwards. I honestly can't stand KoRn at all, and no way was I forcing myself to stay there to watch them, even considering how fun it might have been to see everyone get all idiotic and crazy.

I did see Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, and Autolux with some friends in Detroit last year. But I'm more for chilling out and listening to music, as opposed to standing next to some shirtless dudes covered in sweat. But it was still fun.

I usually go to at least one concert every month. I'm really into music.

The last one I saw would have to be Nocturnal Rites. It was at a heavy metal expo in stockholm and they were closing the event preceded by a number of Swedish bands.

First and last concert I have seen was at the YMCA on my 14th B-day last year. I went and saw CTC (Comfort the Contite) and confessed to the singer that was totally hot and he told me "Heh Thanks!" and smiled at me really big. :cutie I went so totally bright red and immediately fled to my friends to tell them what had just happened.

I saw my first and only concert (so far) about 6 weeks ago. It was Muse, and they were great. The night before the concert, a friend of mine decided not to go, since her ex-boyfriend wouldn't go with her. So, she gave me her two tickets, it was just coincidence that I happened to LOVE Muse.

I was trying desperately to get tickets to Madonna's show in London on her birthday. But, alas, I was last at a Gwen Stefani concert. I believe the date was December 21st, the day that she announced she was pregnant onstage. That was one of the most memorable moments in any Gwen fans life, and I swear, I lost my voice so hard from screaming (as if should be).

The last concert I attended was about two weeks ago or so. It was local gig starring a local band called The Retros. Their a fun cover band with their own original style. I think there were opening bands but I was off doing something else before The Retros were supposed to perform, so I don’t really know.

All this was located at our town fair and usually that means lots of bad county singers are on first before the good bands that start at midnight. So most likely there were others.

Holy crap! Just got home from seeing TV on the Radio. They were just...flipping fantastic! I've never really heard them before, just heard they were great so I decided to check them out. They sound quite different live then in studio(as many bands do). As a drummer, I always pick out tthe beat and drumming, and Jaleel Bunton is just amazing. But of course, so is the rest of the band. Tunde Adebimpe and Davis Andrew Sitek were just so lively and fun to watch, I loved it all!

The opening band, Grizzly Bear were great too, kinda reminded me a bit of Radiohead. TVOTR was very supportive of them, which was nice to see. They were great and seemed so into it.

A memoritive moment was when some guy yelled "I love you man!", to which Tunde casually responded "I love you too man...probably."

Although I'm the last person who posted, I'm wondering if I should edit, or if since it's been a long time, that this post is okay?

So, mods, if I should erase this post, and edit the previous one, tell me!

Anyways. Double dosage! Friday Night was the Red Hot Chili Peppers/Mars Volta concert. Volta, to me and compatriot, were pretty much bored by them. They just seemed to drag on. But the Peppers, were explosive! They played all the best, and some of my fav tunes off Stadium Arcadium. They also did some in between little jams, or let either Flea, John or Chad do a little solo, which was great.

I also saw The Decemberists yesterday. They were fantastic, though I coudln't see much of the show for a little bit of it(I was behind some really big guys >.<). They sound great live, which shocked me. They played my favorite tune of theirs. Engine Driver, and although I've never heard anything from their latest album before yesterday, I'm going to pick it up soon. A+ Event.

You're ok because no one cares about the music forum.

The last concert I attended was the Family Values Tour when it came to Indiana in September. We went for Dir en grey <3 but we got to see a lot of the other bands as well, though not all of them. It was pretty awesome being able to see them on mah home turf. >B It wasn't the first time that I had seen them (actually the third >_>), but they were amazing, as they usually are. As a bonus, for purchasing an autographed CD, we got to meet the vocalist after their performance. ^^ Sort of meet anyways. XD More like shake his hand and GO, but hey, I got to shake his hand in return for buying a CD I wanted anyways. XD

Last gigs I saw were about two weeks ago, I saw Gogol Bordello, the Datsuns, and the Dears all in the same week. I also saw Polysics a few months ago, they were bloody amazing, Japanese New Wave rock has never sounded so good and Gogol were just ace. I'm seeing a new wave elecro marathon next week in liverpool of WRM, soundscape and the Delta fiasco.

A few nights ago I saw a local group called The Rising Failures. They were really good, and I was suprised that I had never heard of them before. They perform at the theatre here, and they put on quite the show. =3

i work concerts and plays now in austin, so i was working the rolling stones show. They really really sucked. They are going to use the location for the dvd though, the stage was the largest touring stage in the world, and thats about the only plus i can give it.

The last concert I attended was a 30 Seconds to Mars show on the 17th of November. No, I don't remember the date because the concert was so awesome (on the contrary, the concert blew), I remember it because just two days later I got sick as all hell. I'm STILL sick, it blows.

But yeah, about the concert... the only acts I enjoyed were Cobra Starship (although why the hell the keytar chick was there I have no clue) and Head Automatica. It was an outdoor concert on a very cold (yes, Kuzu, COLD) and extremely windy night. I was in a t-shirt and jeans thinking the concert would be indoors. >_<;

Poor soh got owned. xD

The last concert I attended was the MUCC concert at Otakon, with the hilariously bad Nana Kitade opening for them. MUCC was great, which was nice since I'd never heard anything of theirs before going.

The Blood Brothers at Station 4 in Minneapolis on November 1st along with Trail of Dead and Brothers and Sisters.

Brothers and Sister's opened and I thought I fell into what is known as the 60's. They were all in hippy clothes and there were two women singers with tamborines (sp?) and all the men had beards and acoustic guitars. haha it really confused me because you would think a band more Blood Brothersesque would open :_insane:

Anyhow, than Trail of Dead came on, I don't really remember them at all, they were okay...

Than everyone squished to the front and the Blood Brothers opened with Set Fire to the Face on Fire from Young Machetes. :thud: I died. I was in the second "row" (really the crowd was just a glob of people trying to touch Jordan and Johnny) the girl standing next to me dared me to grab the lead singers package >.< I didn't (thankfully) but I did accidently poke him in the belly button. That was kind of cool.

By the end of the night I was drenched in the lead singers sweat, my own, and everyone elses, it was hard to breath from being squished for so long and I was hungry as all hell.

By far the best concert. I don't think any other can beat it!

<3 them so much!

The last one I saw at this moment would be a concert of 2 local bands organised by the students of my university. One punk and one metal. The music was quite good but the athmosphere could have been better. When we started moshing to the punk band the security actually told us to calm down ()>.>

The last one before that was Arch Enemy. It was great. Back in June I saw this band on a metal festival where out of 50+ atcs, only Motörhead was ranking over them on the bill. A couple of weeks ago they were playing here in this really tiny bar. Needless to say that this was really awesome.

Now I'm looking forward to seeing Sodom in 2 weeks.

Rhapsody's "Tour of the Dragonflame", but found my ears bleeding and my legs hurt after that, so I've decided that I'll listen to them at home next time.

Two years before they change their name to Rhapsody of Fire. Or maybe three. It's 2002 anyway.
