* Linuts imagines what was going through the minds of UFOTable studio

Staff 1: Hmm so we've got a sci-fi space cowboy story ready, but it stars a 40-year-old hard-a$$. We need something that will attract our perverted fanboys.

Staff 2: Then we will just add in a loli girl as his adopted daughter.

Staff 3: No, we need a harem! Every anime has a harem!

Staff 1: Then how about a group of female assasins?

Staff 2: Dressed in Goth!

Staff 1: All right, then. A group of gothic female assasins.

Staff 3: Yuri is always good.

Staff 1: A group of gothic lesbian assasins.

Staff 2: Cyborgs! Boys love machines!

Staff 3: And make them young!

Staff 1: A group of gothic lolita cybernatic killer lesbians.

Staff 2: With guns!

ALL STAFF: WITH GUNS!

ALL STAFF: A GROUP OF GOTHIC LOLITA CYBERNATIC KILLER LESBIANS WITH GUNS!

Staff 1: Man! This show is gonna rock!

Well that would've been the case if this show had a more original story and less cliches. From the same people that brought us Futakoi Alternative, comes the sci-fi series Coyote Ragimte Show. Visually, the artwork is pretty good for a TV series. Though the action scenes were mostly people shooting at each other. While the animation is smooth everywhere else, the action just seems lacking... Not good enough for an action series. The plot is your typical treasure hunt story added with some dull side characters, and a group of GOTHIC LOLITA CYBERNATIC KILLER LESBIANS WITH GUNS! Honestly, the group of cyborg assasins seem more interesting from their looks alone. It's too bad they're all probably gonna be dropping like flies and get little characterization, since they are the bad guys.

I'm a little disappointed with UFOTable, after the joy ride they gave us with Futakoi Alternative. But if there is one thing they are good at, is developing relationship between main characters. And, thus far, there's potential between the main character, Mister, and the little loli girl. Still, the presentation could've been better... Ah well, at least they kept those crazy claymation ending credits.

I watched the first three episodes. It wasn't really bad, but it didn't hook me, while other shows did. :(

The first episode made me drool. I just hope they don't mess around seeing as how it's only 12 episodes long.

I didn't care for the show that much. I tried to watch the show but after 3 eps, i got bored with it.

I've only seen three eps so far, since this show isn't worth me the effort of switching fansubbers. Mister is GAR but the twelve sisters add nothing (but violence and fanservice). Apparently it peaks around 4 or 5 and then falls off from there, so I'm not sure I'm missing much. All style, no substance were my thoughts after 1 ep, and I have a feeling they'll be the same thoughts after x eps... (where x is the number of eps in this series).

Edit: Btw, Linuts, LMAO @ script. I'm almost certain that's approximately how the conversation went when this thing was conceived.

I wasn't looking for anything deep or new in this series. It is fun to watch if you have the time to burn. The animation is top notch and Blue's robbery episode was win.
This series tries too hard to be the Next Cowboy Bebop but fails at the chemistry CB had. It does have good action scenes, and lets not forget gothic lolita cybernetic lesbians with guns. CB didn't have them!

Gynoids, not cyborgs. They're 100% artificial. ;)

I really don't see Marciano's Twelve Sisters as fanservicey. Anyway. I <3 Mister, and that alone is enough to make me keep watching.

Actually, if you look past episode 3 (which is the low point to me [now at ep 7]), the series does get picked up to something watchable.

I wonder if they will ever make a "Coyote Alternative" or "Mother Marciano is Watching You", where the 12 Sisters actually star in their own harem show... And let the ratings roll!

I'd actually compare this to Outlaw Star more than Cowboy Bebop. CRS shares the season length with CB, and that's about it. CB is a pretty subdued, noir-ish action show with a very episodic structure. CRS is a linear narrative that's colorful and fast paced. OS doesn't quite compare because it has a lot of filler that can go anywhere, but if you just consider the core episodes of OS, it's very similar to CRS.

Oh, and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Only like half of the "GROUP OF GOTHIC LOLITA CYBERNATIC KILLER LESBIANS WITH GUNS!" are actually lolis; none of them are cyborgs; and not all of them use guns.
