Any Anime Character

If you had a chance to be mentored by any anime character to serve as thier replacement, who would it be and why?

mine would be frieza, his fighting technique, plus learning the death ball would be amazing! But i hope i dont make the same mistake of underestimating my enemy like he did.....and I WOULD RULE WITH AN IRON FIST!

I'd go for Vegeta, He's Cocky and He doesnt show his emotions too easily but you can kinda tell when hes upset and stuff and he always has a bit of mysterie about him, also the big bang attack and the Galick gun would be so helpful. Also Ive always wanted to fly and be one of the most strongest people ever.

Oh boy, this is kinda hard for me. I think I'll go for either Major Kusanagi for GITS or Edward Elric of FMA; being more inclined to the former choice. Major can really help me with her network intelligence and hacking expertise, especially since I find them pretty handy with my IT studies. Plus, she can give some few tips on how to kick a** with the gritty guys... not to mention she's very pleasing to my eyes for a cyborg.

If you're going for something realistic, you might as well aim a little higher: say Takamura maybe? Now there's a guy I wouldn't mind learning some moves from.

Well, you can't really say whether it's the same person or a different one with the same never. You never get to see his face in either the manga or the anime. There are more Angelic Layer cameos (Kaede, Jounouchi, Misaki, and Oujiro) in the manga that weren't in the anime (except Kaede, who was not named) which some take to mean Chobits take place some time after Angelic Layer in the same world, but it's just fan speculation. He was never called Icchan in Chobits--not surprising, since the only one that called him by name was Jima, and he's not really in a position to call him by nicknames.

For me well I never really thought about it. Maybe Ginko from Mushishi because I like his lifestyle (although I suppose it gets sort of lonely at times).

Seto Kaiba from Yugioh or Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. They both are such strong characters that pulled through in their difficult lives.

Seto was able to get him and his brother out of the orphanage and than take over Kaiba Corp at a young age. He's strong and protective of his little brother and a genius to be able to run a company, while so young.

Tohru makes friends so easy and she's always so happy even with what happened in her past. Her mom dying, aunt and uncle family giving her a hard time forcing her out of her own home, and when she was younger the kids never let her join in the games. After all that, she is still able to smile and be understanding towards other which makes her a very strong character.

I would like to learn from both of these characters those strengths.

yeah, GTO is really nice, Onizuka changed the worst section, and gave them the time of their lives! I must say he was the GREAT TEACHER ever!

I was gonna say Takamura-san from Hajime No Ippo but as you can see someone already beat me to it. I guess I would pick Kentaro Oe from Golden Boy. He'd be a cool person to replace because he's so damn smart, kicks ass, and all the ladies he comes in contact with. Just truely awesome.

Oddly enough, Kyon from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yūutsu. He's a normal guy who suddenly triggers a chain of events that can change the face of the universe just by simply interacting with the person who sits behind him in class.

It would be great to experience his life, mainly because he's normal like all of us (as far as "normal" goes here) and is surrounded by the most surrealistic phenomenons, events and people. It's probably the most interesting life there is in terms of being an observer and/or catalyst.
