yes, as pathetic as it may seem, i resently hear about the trigun movie that is comming out in a couple of years or so.

all i ask is to fill me in with new events

Sorry kid, as of now this is nothing more than an internet rumor. In the case of this rumor, it has been floating around for awhile, so it isn't a suprise that you have heard about it. Sadly (actualy, I don't like Trigun, so gladly) this is only an internet rumor.

Studio Madhouse founder Maruyama Masao himself denied any rumors of a Trigun movie at Otakon a couple of weeks back.

Blast. It could have been made into a good movie if they showed what happened after ep. 26 or what happened to Vash through all the years he wandered the planet, before the anime really started. Anyways, I won't be crushed if they don't make a movie, but if they ever make one, I pray it's not going to be a big recap of the whole series like a few ofter animes movies I know (Like the X Movie).

That's a real shame, actually. I was really looking forward to seeing Trigun without it being scuppered by sub-par animation, and the project as a whole sounded interesting. I wonder why they're scrapping it, because it would've done, very, very well indeed. Maybe there's not enough interest in Japan (where the series pretty much flopped)?

well if you use yahoo search engine and type in "trigun movie" you will see a trigun "comming soon" movie poster.
unless someone faked that poster, i don't know what to believe.

It would be cool if they made a trigun movie, but I don't see how it would weave in with the story and everything. Oh well.
