I just read the first english volume of it, and I really enjoyed it... but...

When Guy and Will kissed near the end of the volume..

It kinda turned me off. I'm not one for that kind of stuff. I can't say I hate it (since I do read Ouran High School Host club, which is KINDA close to that genre as it gets) but if the book focuses on that Shounen-ai stuff (which Matoh seems to be known for ala FAKE for example), I don't know if I'll keep buying it. I really enjoyed it until that scene kinda killed my excitement a little.

If anyone has read this manga any farther, mind telling me if I should keep reading, or will Shounen-ai be a large factor in this series? My brothers read my manga and my family is VERY PARANOID about stuff like that so even if I didn't have a problem with it (I kinda do, but if it doesn't get any serious, it's all good), THEY WILL.

I really enjoyed this manga and you are welcome to share my enthusiasm or share your comments about this series. But for now, I really would like to know if this series goes to that kind of genre or it's just a gag (it seemed like it).

But for now, TRASH is on my "to read" list.

Never read it, but...

It's Sanami Matou. I think you'd be rather safe to assume that there'll be shounen-ai stuff going on.

By the way, would you mind sharing what it's about? I do enjoy her work but I'm not familiar with the title.

Well, TRASH is about a kid named Will Anderson, who's uncle (his guardian) is a modern-day Al Capone. After finding a Penguin named Bobby, his finds himself swept into a business called the "Trash Company", who do cleaning jobs part time and steal jewelry full-time. Mixed with both the italian mafia and now a group of laid-back thieves, Will's life becomes more than the average schoolboy's daily routine.

And worst of all, whenever he hits his head, his split personality, the tough-as-nails short-tempered fighter known as Crosse takes over, who Will seems to hate.

Eh, bad summary, here's T-Pop's:

Will Anderson is the nephew of the modern-day Al Capone. He lives in New York, goes to a ritzy private school, and dotes on his charming little cousin Kate. Until one day, when he runs into a man and his pet penguin in Central Park (or rather, the man steals his hot dog), and then everything starts to get a little complicated. Suddenly Will is swept up into the buisness of the Trash Company, an odd-jobs outfit whose main work tends to involve stolen jewels and a whole lot of trouble!
