Title: Plastic Little http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a237/fn2bteen/432.jpg
Genre: Action
Company: KSS
Format: 1 OVA
Dates: 3/21/1994
Grade: 79.7%
Highs: Fun, yet heavy story, action-packed, straight to the point, perfect amount of time for the movie, great animation for it's time and on, realistic scenes
Lows: One or two filler scenes, unneeded characters, should have been considered a movie not an OVA, too much "perfect timing", realistic bathing scene may not apply very "realistic" to immature viewers
Summary: On a planet that looms not too far from the sea of clouds, seventeen-year-old Tita is already the captain of her presumed-deceased father's pet-shop-hunter ship, the Cha-Cha-Maru. Together with the heart-warming crew of the ship, they set out and capture wild and rare animals from the sea of clouds and sell them. One day, accidentally, when Tita was running late on a shopping errand, sixteen-and-a-half-year-old Elise rams into her and Tita later finds out she's running for her life from an evil henchman trying to destroy the planet! Now fate has bestowed a huge weight opon our dear captains shoulders. The ultimate fate of the world - summary by Sae
Review: As one of my top favorite animes, I had to try and not include any opinionated input on my behalf. A very short, yet perfectly crafted anime such as Plastic Little, certainly deserves it's credit. I know of many that many get upset over the grading ways of moderators and what-not. Yet they must also think about what they grade it on. Animation, graphics, and many, much more TECHNICAL things than "how much they enjoyed the film or not".
I wish more people would realize this. Then there would be a LOT
less confusion. That is my thought on the matter. This OVA is worth watching if you enjoy seeing realistic pain and guilt. Also hilarious action, if I do say so myself. And not in a bad way, either.
