View Full Version : Shojo Beat Tribute
I have been collecting the mag/manga since it came out last year and all I have to say is.....I miss Godchild! The replacement for it, Vampire Knight, is equally good but I still miss it and I wish that more mangas of Godchild would come out....Please reply to this specific thread if you r a Shojo Beat fan also! I don't wanna talk to mean people dissing my favorite subscription!

I enjoyed Shojo Beat. Finally, a magazine with my tastes.
I stopped ordering it after a while, because it mysteriously dissappeared from my mailbox countless times (??) and I just gave up. I'm waiting to jump back in as soon as some new series' are introduced; Vampire Knight looks interesting for the most part, I'll give it a shot. I loved Godchild, too, because of its omninous touch. Absolute Boyfriend was entertaining, but a little dull. I rarely gave Baby & Me or that samurai series a glance. Crimson Hero (?) was alright. But, Shojo Beat's true gold, was NANA, and NANA alone. I'd pay big bucks for a NANA magazine. <3
So true! Now that NANA has its own manga, however, I'm afraid they might lose customers lol. Though they are still ahead of the manga by FAR lol ^-^

I occasionally skim through it in the line at Blockbuster but haven't enough money to subscribe :(
I really do like Full Moon (I stole some of the manga volumes from a friends for a little while) and I would seriously consider investing in some of that :D
