You know anime has reached far and wide when even Alaska (pop. 600,000) is able to put on an anime convention! The first Aurora Con (http://www.auroracon.org/) is being held on July 14th in Anchorage at the Egan Center. Guests include Brett Weaver (Nabeshin in Excel Saga, Touji in NGE), Chris Sabat (Armstrong in FMA, Ayame in Fruits Basket), and Tom Bateman to represent the Robotech 2006 tour.
I suppose it's a long shot, but is anyone here planning on attending?
