I was just wondering how many people have actually seen this live action show about gaming on the internet. Note, that I've created this topic in the Arcade, because the show is primarily about gaming, and it will most likely generate the most discussion in the Arcade forum, for those that have seen it.

I find the show hilarious. You have to be a bit versed in some gaming terms to fully understand it though. Basically, it's about the life of a gamer (Jeremy), which is filmed by his brother (Kyle), and stars other characters such as the widely known FPS Doug. The show is somewhat episodic (it's mostly a comedy, so there isnt much of a story), and it never really takes itself seriously, as you see the words "noob" and "owned" appearing numerous times. On an interesting note, the show started off as a school project, in which Jeremy's brother displayed the first episode on the internet. The show wasnt meant to last long, but it gained excessive popularity, and is still continuing to be filmed today.

There are so many moments in the show that have made me laugh out loud. The 3rd episode with FPS Doug is absolutely classic, the first part of episode 8 or 9 that shows Jeremy in rehab trying to lose his WoW addiction is also really humourous (it's funny when he talks to the psychiatrist, saying that he loves to hurt people. He's really talking about the game, but it makes him look like a psychopath to her), as is the Kill Bill Parody ("If you eat like a noob, you'll get owned like a noob"), Jeremy's Homestarrunner parody at the start of episode 10, and Jemery working for numerous jobs like a game tester.

Anyways, I'd like to see what everyone who has seen the show thinks of it, and what are everyone's favourite moments in the show.

Or another good commercial would be the start of the 2nd episode: Girls, where Kyle asks all these girls questions, like "Do you know what a noob is?", "do you know what uber-micro is?", "Do you think the word noob sounds sexy?" If you replied correctly to all of these, you officially pwn. If not, get back on the noob school bus and check out --"

Enjoy the show. You can download the episodes for free. The best thing about the episodes, is that they are 30 mins long each. It's not like some of those internet mini series (with 10 min episodes at max) like Red vs Blue, so it feels like you're actually watching a TV show.

I LOVE Pure Pwnage! My friend show me some scenes from it 5 or 6 monthes back, and i just feel in love with it. I went home and downloaded all the episodes soon after, and I've been hooked since. The show is just packed with memorable moments, and it's cast is likeable and funny-as-hell. The show REALLY nails all of it's jokes about gaming and gamers, and being a gamer myself, it's hilarious how I can relate to it. Really great show, very well-done, and just plain, flat-out good humor. Good stuff.

Pure Pwnage is very entertaining indeed. I am a fan of FPS games so I can somehow relate to the show. I wish I could play CS as well as Doug does though. The episode(I forgot the name of it) that began with Doug in the Call of Duty 2 setting was especially hilarious.
