I finally finished the final manga, and I have to say, I naturally enjoyed the entire series.
Though I believe all of the commotion (dolls, et cetera) is a little nuts, I think that this is one of the best stories out there recently. I can't wait until the anime-adaptation, and I certainly can't wait for anything else they throw out there. Did anyone else enjoy this manga? Where you impressed?~

Courtney Love scares me. Though, watching her get arrested a few times was a bit fun(yes Washington is that boring...). When I first found out that she was going to be the co-creator of Princess Ai, I thought there was going to be no way she could pull it off. Well, I was half right. The whole time this was being written, she spent half her time in jail and half on house arrest. In my opinion, her name in the credits as co-creator isn't very necessary.
Anyways back to the main question. It was OK but not an actual favorite for me. I'm not a big fan of gothic shoujo or whatever you call it, and at times it reminded me of Dolls(that's when you know it's not original). I wouldn't say it was all bad because it had some nice art, a pretty easy plot to follow and it was a fun, short, spare-time read.
I would like to see how the anime would compare.

Courtney being in jail totally slowed the process; the wait for the following volume was insane.
I can't really see your comparison w/ 'Dolls' besides the clothing. I don't think its quite fair to compare the two when they are almost-completely different (besides art & theme, etc). But, yes, the art & plot were lovely, and I hope the transition from manga to anime runs smoothly.
i read all three volumes yet the ending could have been elaborated in my opinion.
