i know im in the minority by liking sports games that are realisticc but this one is awesome, players finally look like their real counter-parts and the controls are perfectly made for this kind of game...... what about the rest of the sports games fans here, ne1 else like sports games, especially this one?

Meh, try Winning Eleven instead. Much more realistic, much more complex and tough, and look much much better.

I havent tried a Fifa game in ages (since Fifa '98). It's probably made enough changes to be worth checking out again. That or Winning Eleven.
Sports games are my least favourite genre, and probably as well as many people in this forum. The only sports games that somewhat interest me are hockey, soccer, tennis, table tennis, and possibly golf. Still, I wouldnt mind giving one of these games another try, if I havent experienced them in awhile. The problem with most sports games is that each title they release in a series hardly changes from the last. Therefore, I have to wait until they release about 5 games in the series before it's different enough for me to try it again.
You want realism? Check out Rockstar Games Presents Table Tennis on the Xbox360. The physics are amazing, the graphics are polished, putting spins on the ball is actually very helpful, and it can get very fast paced with two good players.

I like Sports games that don't take themselves too seriously. =D Such as Sega's Decathlon & Winter Heat games.
Or games that are delightfully easy to get into but takes a while to master... such as Sega's Virtua Tennis.
Conclusion: Only Sega makes sports games that I like it would seem.
That said I'm looking forward to Wii sports. <.<;; Should be a world of fun.

I agree that Sega makes the best sport game. Personally, I'm HUGE fan of the NBA 2K series. As for Fifa 06, I played the 360 demo and it seemed solid, just not my thing but I'm not really a soccer fan. Some may know from my visit to #AA.

i love the fifa series, most of the games (not all...) have been really good, and have that real life feeling, i know that a lot of people preffer the Winning Eleven games, but i find them to be boring and a more fantasy like...
oh, another really great sport game is fifa street, the game isnt that perfect when talking about gameplay, but is fun that you can do all those movements with a lot of real players
