Huff, now that all thankyous are in order, I guess I can delve into the birthday summary. After a somewhat boring day at work, (though my co-workers did have a surprise set up for me, as in confetti-over-the-door-surprise) I was able to leave earlier and go home and organize a bit before a bunch of friends showed up. We had a quick dinner and left around 12PM to our favorite bar (no anime sleepover I'm afraid). Since it had been so long since I was able to be with all of them at the same time I had a great night. Plenty of bands performed and because it was my birthday I got free drinks and lots of hugs from people I had never seen before in my life (don't ask), all around an awesome night (early morning?). I returned to my place when the sun was high up and now I'll probably sleep a couple of hours before going to have lunch with my family.

Birthday booty:

- The RHCP 'Stadium Arcadium' album
- 'Smoke and Mirrors' by Neil Gaiman
- 2 gift certificates
- Pink scarf (that I shall never wear for as long as I'm alive)
- Tiger slippers!
