MGS pc prob

ok, i just reinstalled the original mgs on my comp b/c my ps version one was mauled by my dog, and i dont have a gamecube. so i played the game, and decided to do it the way so i get the stealth camo, but after the credits rolled, it just went straight to the menu screen, what's up w/ this? is it diff b/c its the comp version?

All I know is that Konami is notoriously BS when it comes to porting their stuff to PC... 1) they dont know how to port to PC and 2) they dont really care...

I got MGS2 for PC and that piece was the hardest thing to get set up and working properly... I just gave up... never have beaten MGS2...
