View Full Version : About using an Ipod on the 360

I've been using my iPod on my XBOX 360 lately, to play music during my games. The only problem is that when I select a playlist, and then a song to play, the system will repeatedly only repeat that one song over and over. Unless I go back into the browser menu to change the song, the song will keep repeating. I just want to be able to play a whole playlist, composed of many different songs, one after the other.

Is there any option that I can use to play a whole list of songs, instead of having one song repeat over and over. If so, how do I do it? Can I get a step-by-step process?

My friends (the ones who actually own XBox 360's) and I had the same exact problem and never got figured out how to work it. We ended up just repeating one song over until we got sick of it and eventually got up the will to change it.

If you do figure out the problem be sure to post the solution, so I can look smart in front of all my friends. :p

You can just press the "play all" button.

Open the menu (the one accessed through the Xbox face button), click on "select music", choose the device, and instead of browsing, just select "Play All", or choose a specific subset (say, all Queen songs), and select that, instead of the specific song.

Thanks! I just tried that out and it worked. I have no clue how I missed the "Play All" feature when you go into a playlist, or they Y Button Icon that sais "Play All" in the choosing of the playlist option. I really do wish that they gave you the option to Play All starting from whatever song you want to play first in a playlist.

Well, my iPod can work on my computer that runs Windows instead of only Macs, so it isnt the first time that Apple and Microsoft have been compatible together.

well maybe it's my lack of knowledge on x-boxs. i never took an interest in them.
