Yeah, I'm talking about the uber-expensive Confessions Tour by Madonna (http://www.confessionstour.com), herself. Anyone going? I'm still scouting for tickets... I hit "refresh" on the listings page, and as soon as I did, I saw a couple of "SOLD OUT"'s pop up. It's going to be huge, though.
The setlist is "supposedly"...
Future Lovers / I Feel Love (Medley)
Get Together
Like A Virgin
Jump
Live To Tell
Forbidden Love
Issac
Sorry
Like It Or Not
Sorry Remix (Video Interlude)
I Love New York
Let It Will Be
Ray Of Light
Drowned World/Substitute For Love
Paradise (Not For Me)
Music / Disco Inferno (Medley)
La Isla Bonita
Erotica/You Thrill Me
Lucky Star
Hung Up
Happy to see old favourites, but unpleased to see a few newer ones not included (Super Pop? Fighting Spirit??).
Ah well.

Man just because you can get $350 for a ticket doesn't mean you should ask for it, but atleast the cheap seats are still around $50. Funny how you probally won't find a t-shirt cheaper than the cheapest ticket :D
Now now, I'm sure by now everyone knows that the greatest show in earth should be in past tense. Why?
FINLAND WON EUROVISION 2006
This had such a wide impact in the world that literaly:

....and what kind of song could have given Finland the victory?
You might think it was one of those boring, popish songs that Pachinko loves that always win at Eurovision...Think again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqBGffYpE9I):

BTW, the winners were Lordi, with their song "Hard Rock Hallelujah". Lordi is a heavy metal band known more for their monster image than their songs, oh well, things are bound to change from now onwards.
Complete thread hijacking btw :D

Eurovision was totally insane and I'm beyond happy Finland won rather than some crappy pop music like normal. I believe this is their first win in 40 years too.
I feel bad for those living in Helsinki though because Eurovision is probably going to be in that city for next year. :XD:

Before I tuned in, I was like "Why's everyone talking about Finland?! What's all the fuss about?".
THEN I tuned in.
Zomg! Best Eurovision song evar!
I have no idea what the UK's song sounded like, though. I'm such a let-down to my country :(

What is Eurovision, really?
Is it simply an excuse for European countries to pat themselves on the back and show each other some good old-fashioned sycophantic loving - or is it actually some kind of competition to... find the best country musically in Europe? I've never been able to work it out...

It's the former, no doubt about it. Of course it's also got the benefit of being very funny and stupid, even if it can be utterly terrible. As long as Terry Wogan provides his fantastic voice-over I shall continue to half-heartedly watch it and chuckle away to myself.

Ha ha ha at Lordi. Their costumes are absurd. Watching the video reminds me of some kind of Muppet video. And the song itself is just okay.
Oh well. Any time a rock song wins over pop songs, I'm content, regardless of the dubious quality of the song itself.
As for Madonna: She's overrated and the tickets are extremely overpriced. What a moneygrubber. I wouldn't go anywhere near one of her concerts even if I did like her.

I know the tickets are insane, but I'd pay in an instant.
Any tour by her (especially the Blonde Ambition Tour, which totally changed the format of tours forever) is supposed to be amazing. I've seen the DVD's for both the Girlie Show, and Drowned World, but this is different (as usual). I can't wait too see the footage.
