Has been announced!

This one will have Wi-Fi for sure. I can't wait already. Although, I would have loved to see a "Jump Super Villians" game, but I'll live with JSS2

Nice!

I've unlocked everything in Jump Superstars one and still play it every now and then. Great game. I hope they make more characters actually playable the next time around.

There's too many games I want coming out. My wallet will not survive this.

Sign me up. My first real import game and it was certainly the most fun one. It should defniately be worthy of my cash.

Necromancy! :x

Jump Super Stars 2, aka "Jump Ultimate Stars" is out! Does anyone here play? It's a lot of fun, and has much better wifi support then the first one (from what I've heard; I never really tried JSS). At any rate, there's such a huge cast, and online play is pretty good, even when connecting to Japan.

I'll know in 2 weeks or so. My girlfriend wouldn't let me get this so she would have something to give me for hanukkah/christmas. Soooo, I can share my code in a few weeks or so.

Instead they get one of the most irritating support moves. So, be happy for that at least.

Ooookie dokie! For Hanukkah last night, my girlfriend gave me a copy of this game. Thus far: an improvment to the first! (which is hard to believe, since I hold the first game with such high esteem).

Let me put it straight foward: The Koma Evolution system is 100000x more easier to deal with than the Koma Matching in the first one. When you beat a stage (or in chests), you get a certain amount of gems, each of a differnet color. You spend these gems to unlock new versions of the character. This way you can give more attention to the characters you like, rather than waiting towards the end of the game to get them all. Heck, I already have a 7-koma Luffy.

On the subject on Koma size, most of the more popular/well-known characters from Jump have an EIGHT koma panel character in this one. Each one seeming to be the most up-to-date version of the respective character, each of which more spoiler-ific than the last, so I won't go into detail. Some of the characters that have 8-koma versions are Luffy, Naruto/Sasuke, Ichigo, Kenshiro, Goku, etc.

I'll post more, including my friend code, when I play the game more.

Now that they've unveiled the playable Kinnikuman and Kenshiro, my interest in the sequel just went way up. A Jotaro/Kenshiro or Raoh/Dio team is imminent in my Koma deck.

A nice treat for JoJo fans, is that EVERY JoJo from series 1-6 has a support koma version (Johnny from part 7 only has a 1 koma version).

So, Jonathan, Joseph, Jotaro (obviously, as he is the only JoJo battle koma besides Dio), Josuke, Giorno, and Joylene

This game is majestic. Jump Super Stars was good, but sweet sacred glory, Jump Ultimate Stars takes the crown.
As someone previously stated, Koma Evolution is far easier to deal with than the Koma Matching, especially for those of us that can only read Hiragana. Battles are more fluid, and harder. The number of Battle Characters has been overhauled, which is excellent, though a few random additions are curious. Why Frieza? Why Hitsugaya? Well, Hitsugaya got in because he is one of Bleach's most popular, but I still don't get Frieza. They should make a Jump Gaiden: Ultimate Villains, or something to that effect. Then put in Frieza, Majin Buu, Orochimaru, Aizen, etc.
I've only had the game a short while, so I'm currently only in the J-Black Hole. I blame the fact that I work a lot, and also have to balance time on FFXII, Pokemon Diamond, and several other games. Not to mention Anime.

Yeah, I ramble a lot, but it's a great game. Love the 8-Size Komas. Size-6 Luffy rules, so I can't wait to see his further ones. I guess I'll find out.

The only thing that would make this game better would be some Air Gear characters, but alas, they are not JUMP.

I finished the game and unlocked everything. I wish I could say I've had more fun with other DS games, but this one really wins the prize. I agree with you though Asahn, I've been wanting a Jump Super/Ultimate Villiance since JSS. Just having Dio/Majin Buu/Frieza/Dr. Masharito is a nice touch, but it would be great to have a game full of villians.

So yeah, I've got the game and I love it, I really do, but the only translation faq I could find was on GameFaqs and it's super-incomplete. Anybody know where I could find a complete one?

I live in the UK, and have never bought an import game before in my whole damn life.

How do I get this game?

There are websites online that will sell import games around the world. http://www.play-asia.com/ is my favourite.

I assume there aren't any compatibility issues with a Japanese game and a European DS?

Your welcome ^_^

And, no there shouldn't be any compatability issues; the DS is completely region free. I own 2 Japanese games (Ouendan and Gyakuten Saiben II DS) and both work perfectly fine.

Jump Super Stars played on my American DS just fine. Ultimate Stars I've yet to have the good fortune to play, but I'm eager to put together a Kenshiro, Kinnikuman, and One Piece team. It all really comes down to the money and when I'll have any.
