A surprising lack of AAers go to ACen. It makes Mana sad, since it was her first con, and the only anime con she doesn't really have to make a trip to go to. Just not enough Chicagoans at the academy, I suppose.

Never hurts to try, though. Any takers this year? Roark and I will only be there for a day (Saturday), but I need to make up for not attending last year, and to prep myself for TakTak.

This year, we're lucky enough to have Junko Mizuno as a guest, one of teh awesomest Mangaka ever, and one of my personal favourite artists (enough to have a tattoo of her work on my back). If you don't know her, you should. Outside of that, don't know too much about what's happening, but you can check it out for yourself.

I am thinking maybe. Never much of a fanatic con-goer here, but I might go for a half-day with some college friends.

*waves hand* I'll be there! n_n I was there last year, and I had a lot of fun, so I'm really excited about this year. It's by far the busiest con I've attended, but it's a good thing.

*sobs* i want to go... but i has no money... and no ride... and parents wont lemme stay at hotel or drive me there...

maybe next i will go, who knows...

It was my first anime con too, Mana. :)

I missed it last year though (forgot about it) and this year I have a prior engagement with school (final exams). I'm thinking maybe in '07 I'll get to go again, unless I decide to go crazy and head out to Anime Expo or Otakon instead.

This is the skit my school's Anime Club put up in the Masquerade in ACen. Sadly I couldn't be there, but it was obviously well-received since it won first place. We took second too :D

Oh awesome! That was without a doubt one of my two favorite skits. I was glad to see they got the award they did. ^_^
