Devilman movie

I saw this trailer about the Devilman live action movie, it seem pretty cool, so when i was searching for info on the movie i found out that it's actually considered a bad movie(even by the Devilman fans), that it even won this award for the worst movie of that year(2004), has anyone seen this movie?

I bet this movie is great, if you want to see lots of lumps of incredibly poor, badly-rendered, completely and utterly unconvincing CG battle it out. Hell, Reboot looked better than this. I thought that at the time when the first few trailers emerged and I knew it was going to be shit. Watching it again now and my feelings haven't changed at all.

I mean, really - it looks terrible.

I hadn't heard good things about the Devilman movie. I can't beleive thats the trailer for it though. The publicity pictures and art looked alot better. Possibly a trailer for the game perhaps?
It came out around the same time as Casshern, which has amasing visuals.

I really want to see Casshern, do you know if it's going to be released in the U.S. anytime soon at least subbed cause thats actually better.

I saw Casshern on Amazon a while ago and their was at least one DVD availiable, guess someone beat you to it.
I'm surprised that both the Devilman movie and Cashern were released on the same year yet look so different in CG. Despite hearing from many people that the Devilman movie is crap i'm still a little curious to see it, but i'll defenetly check out Casshern, i wanted to see it since i saw the trailer a year ago.

Just import the official UK/Region 2 DVD: it's a great package. Of course, being such a film buff and all, I'm sure you have a multi-region DVD player.

If not (and why not? Go get one.), Go Fish a subsidary of Dreamworks who released GITS 2 last year on cinemas bought the US rights a good few months ago. It might get a US theatrical release sometime this year.

It has been released in this country (UK) though. Importing shouldn't be too troublesome.

Well, there's news about Devilman, Media Blasters has acquired the American distribution rights to the Live Action Devilman. I dont know if this is a good or bad thing, but i dont complain since i havent seen it yet.
