Yeah, those bastards are trying their best to keep our dear KHII away from us. We've been waiting for so long; I wonder why they keep pushing the release date back (besides cashing in during the holidays like with FFVII:AC)?

Are they polishing it up or something? I wonder which seiyuu and VA they will get to do the voice acting? That will be interesting. Disney always does good VA on their work; I just hope that they don't call Lance Bass back to do another FF character's voice.

The thing is, I find it would be good if Kingdom Hearts II was released the same date as it is released in Japan. Before Christmas, but able to make more money than 'after' the holidays. Though it's highly unlikely that that'll happen.

Well they're using in the English cast the same voices for Sora, Riku, Kairi, all Disney voice actors, etc. I hope though that they did get a good voice for the BHK (who still doesn't have a name given.) and Namine.

As for Lance Bass, he didn't speak only make the grunt noises of getting hit...it wasn't bad.

Kingdom hearts 2 is crying for a December 15th release date in North America. This is one of the most antcipated games for me to play this year next to Sly 3. I don't like this release date though because I was hoping to get it for my birthday, but appearently that's not happening. I'm also hoping to see the Jack Sparrow character in this game and a Pirates of the Carribean world, finally er hopefully I'll get to play as a swash-buckling pirate.

From what worlds I know that's going to appear so far they are:

Olympus Coliseum (Hercules world, with places added on, such as the Hades' underworld.)

Atlantica, again. I hated swimming...though it seems you can go on land this time as well.

Mulan's world/ Ancient China.

Disney Castle.

Steamboat Willie World (A world that was I think Mickey's first cartoon, it's all in black and white and goofy and donald and designed of how they very 'first' were back in I guess the year was in the 1930's or 1940's.)

Beauty and the Beast World.

Twilight Town.

I also heard that the world that's in the Deep Dive movie, the one where the one is sitting at the beach. I've seen screenshots of Sora standing in that world, so that'll also be in the game.

Hollow Bastion. Main one there.

Pirates of the Caribbean World.

And I just saw some new screenshots of the Winnie the Pooh world returning.

Overall there'll be a total of 13 worlds in the game, from what I'm aware. The game has a big number with '13' revolving around it.

Any way, as far as Final Fantasy characters, I haven't seen that many show up yet so far. Of course there's Auron, and not that long ago Leon and Cloud are shown back to back ready to fight in a trailer.

Oh my God. Just because a person is better looking than you, more revered than you, has a better voice than you, and is more successful than you can ever dream of being doesn't justify your bashing him. It just makes you look stupid. And he only said like ten phrases in the game; that's some real nitpicking.

Don't be so anal. I know that he does not say much, so I know that him being in the game did not make it bad, nor did he voice the character badly. I WAS JOKING!

Don't be so sensitive. It is just a Final Fantasy gamers joke for anyone who likes Sephiroth and was suprised that they got a singer from a boy band to do the VA.

Wow! Are they going to be doing that level in black and white? Haha. That will be interesting to see how wacky and cartoonish they make that one. I wonder if they will transform our normal characters into characaters of themselves in this level?

As for the "13" thing, I think that they are just trying to make the game seem more mystical and creepy by using the number thirteen in so many different ways.

Actually the level 'will' be in black and white. As well as donald and goofy will be drawn like they were and Sora is 'very' cartoonish in the world. They just posted some shots of the world at www.khinsider.com in the image gallery if you'd like to check more out on that world.

Well I know that somehow the BHK is related to Sora through his heart. They're the same person, but not. It's hard to explain.

As for playing Chain of Memories, it's not necessary to play the game in order to understand Kingdom Hearts II. However I find that it would help to get the 'full' benefit out of the story. It helps me understand more on the cloaked characters/organization, DiZ (who some consider Ansem), more on Sora and Riku and a girl named Namine. It shows some screenshots of the BHK in the game as well, but no help in explaining him. I guess I'll just have to wait for the game to explain.

Well I haven't heard any news 'exactly' on Donald and Goofy improving on there fighting back skills. However now in this game you can merge with each character and get new powers. When merged with Donald you get a blue outfit and I'm guessing magic power is increased, and with Googy you get a red outfit and I'm guessing it's more of a strength and defense power is increased.

I heard that the BHK (Blonde-Haired Kid) is also playable in the game and will have his own party of three. I'm hoping his allies are better...but I can't help but like Donald and Goofy either way.

I have to say, it really is annoying when the company's continuously push the release date farther and farther back. However there is nothing you can do about it, and it won't matter about the wait as long as the game, movie, etc. is actually worth the wait.

For now the release date in Japan (which I'm 99.9% sure they will not change) is December 22, 2005. As for the release date in America the release date on amazon.com, toy r us, and one other website say it'll have a release on December 15, 2005 however that is not possible because there is no possible way that America would release Kingdom Hearts II before Japan, that's just not normal if they would. It'd be nice if that happened...but of course...once again more disappointment. EBgames, Gamestop, Wal-mart, and maybe some others have announced a March 1, 2006 release date. I hate waiting 3 months longer for the game, now I'm just hoping it's going to be worth it in the end.

They just released a small video of the TGS 2005 trailer on the site, and you get to hear Namine's, Sora's, DiZ's, Blonde Haired Kids, Donald's and some enemies voices in the short video. Though one the head of one of the unknowns is always covered, it seems that it is Riku, and somehow he grew 2 feet.

Once you enter the site, on the navigation bar on the left (since it's written in Japanese), it's the last button on the navigation barn.

I've played through the game a whole bunch of times and beat sepiroth at a lower level than i've ever heard of anyone else beating him (72)

but as for chain of memories i'm stuck.... the fight against riku after destiny islands....he always beats me 5 ways from sunday with that dark aura attack i'm officialy putting on the gas and making that game my top priority can anyone whos beaten it give a rough estimate of how far i am from finishing? I MUST be ready for the release

Are you on the part when you play as Sora? Or on the storyline where you play as Riku? I'm guessing Sora as I just checked a walkthrough...I haven't played the game for a couple months but I still know the strategy.

In your card deck, make sure there is a good amount of "0" point cards in your deck. Scatter those cards across your deck and the rest of the deck should be made up of high level 8-9 point keyblades and the magic spell cure. All other magic is resistant to Riku (aka: magic doesn't harm him whatsoever) so the only magic you should have in your deck is cure. When Riku uses dark aura, use a "0" point card and it will stop his attack, simple as that. Just takes timing and a good handful of those cards scattered around to stop his attacks. The rest you should hit him with the keyblade cards until he's beaten.

Then after you beat Riku you still have to fight Larxene, Axel, and Marluxia, actually you have to fight Marluxia twice. As well you have to navigate your way around Castle Oblivion just like the other card worlds you had visited.

thanks I'm sure it would have helped more if I had thought about this thread earlier I've already beaten Riku and Larxene but now I'm stuck on Axel
I owe alot of my failures throughout the game to liquidating my 0s along with my 1s 2s 3s 4s and 5s around the 9th floor I ended up beating Riku through what i call the "no A button strategy" and a few well timed zantetsukens

Three are from Final Fantasy VIII supposedly and the other is from Final Fantasy IX. I'm not 100% sure of who these characters are, however, if any one has played these games I'm sure you know who these are.

Another thing is that the main song for kingdom hearts II sung by Hikaru Utada called "Passion" is now online if you want to hear the song.

I just finished reading about the Drive system on Wikipedia yesterday, if you haven't, I suggest you do!

This sounds awesome. Sure all it is is them throwing in some fancy techniques and stuff so that you can uber-pwn cannon fodder for a couple of seconds, but it just sounds really friggin cool.

That and they mentioned that the BHK had a Drive, which would mean he combines with somebody? Mebe?

I love seeing who is to voice whom. I love picking apart the voice work and recognizing the voice talents.

It seems that they are REALLY stuffing this game with lots of characters from everywhere. I surely didn't expect to hear about Vivi, Seifer, Raijin and Fujin in this game.

Raijin and Fujin probably follow Seifer after their homeworld is absorbed by darkness.

As for Vivi, if he wasn't already such a nice little guy then he could probably pass for a Heartless, seeing as how he already looks like one. Maybe they might work that into the game? Hmm...

The person above Sora and Kairi on the cover is the BHK (Blond Haired Kid) he is still unnamed and he's also the other side of Sora's heart (supposedly). The BHK is a playable character in Kingdom Hearts II, and he even has two partners to help him out, just like how the party is of Sora, Donald and Goofy.

And agreeing on how Sora's look is changing for the better, in the first game I hated his red puffy pants......

Well I'm not sure how it's playing out exactly yet, though I know that you play as Sora with his teammates Donald and Goofy during the game as well as the BHK and it has yet to be seen who his partners are. It has been announced that he does have partners and some rumors had gone out that his partners may be Mickey and Riku. (This is assumed by the trailer Another Side, Another Story and the longer trailer Deep Dive.)

And there is now a new Summon spell:
Stitch (Lilo & Stich)

That's all I know on the summons, and I heard they are an improvement from the first game as well.

According to IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390163/), most of those roles have been confirmed, which is a good thing, since voice acting was one of the stronger parts of the original Kingdom Hearts, so the second time around should be even better. ^^

I really enjoyed the voice acting myself for this game, Haley Joel Osment as Sora was especially great to hear. I didn't realize it was him voicing Sora until the credits rolled by the first time I played the game. I also like how most of the voice actors for the disney characters stay the same as they were for the voice actors in the original movies.

Vivi how hilarious, IX wasn't the best final fantasy but Vivi could lead to some hilarious circumstances since he does look an awful lot like a heartless.

Man if Seifer and Squall meet that would me epic. Maybe Squall could be a temporary (world based) ally (like the countless ones from the original, and probably this one) and Sora, Squall and Donald (or Goofy) could fight Seifer, Fuujin and Raijin.

More and more new Final Fantasy characters are appearing, I saw the commercial for Kingdom Hearts and they show:

Sephiroth (himself and Cloud are battling against each other)
Yuna
Rikku
Paine (All three of them are a summon spell and they're chibi's!!)

As well it's shown the older version of Riku jumping off the tower just like it was shown in the Deep Dive trailer.

A list of the summon spells that I know are:

Yuna, Rikku, and Paine (all three come together as one summon)
Stitch (Lilo and Stitch, he can use a ray gun type weapon)
Chicken Little (From the new movie Chicken Little, he can use a baseball bat)

You mean FFIX was the best FF and it's amazing that Tetsuya Nomura put in an FF character he didn't even design (Amano ftw!).

Actually there's a scene in a new trailer where they're toghether fighting off the enemy together back to back.

And if you remember in Kingdom Hearts, Squall and Cloud fought together in the Colisseum and you had to defeat them in the Hades Cup. And in the end of kingdom hearts:

When the credits role by, there is scene's of people returning to there worlds. And a scene shows that Cloud was brought by Cid over to Hollow Bastion where he meets up with Aerith and the clip moves to a different scene.

EDIT: And as for new information the game itself, there's a few things. There are three friends of the BHK, there names are Boy: Pints, Oret, Hain/Heine. These three help Sora, Donald, and Goofy some point in the game though the BHK is not present during that time.

To me it'll get used to calling him that, and at the moment I'm checking what his name means. It must mean something afterall...I think...

Plus if you'd also like to know the meaning of Kairi's name, her name means "The Agony of Seperation" which also fits her quite well for the ending of the first game and all.

There's something also out called Kingdom Hearts Ultimania Alpha, which has just about all the characters appearing in Kingdom Hearts II.

Too bad Zidane from FF9 wasnt in it (or at least I havent heard of him being in it). I always liked his character, and laughed at his slightly perverted ways. Zell from FF8 was also pretty cool, as well as the guy with the shotgun (forgot his name). It'd also be neat to see Tifa, Barret, or best of all, Vincent from FF7. So far, the characters I'm hoping for the most are Zidane and Vincent. Fighting either of them would be awesome.

And wouldnt it be cool if they added other square characters from different universes? Like Chrono, Frog, Serge, etc...Chrono would rock.

And I really wish they made some more new levels instead of remaking old ones. The Nightmare before Christmas level was great and all, but I already experienced it once in the first game. I'd rather have something new. Maybe The Emperor's New Groove, Treasure Planet, or even a Pixar Film (Disney's associated with them), like Monsters Inc, The Incredibles, Nemo, etc...thank god for the Lion King level.

I did just recently learn about the letters r, o, a, and s being in Roxas' name, but I didn't realize about the X until you mentioned it. It is definitely ironic, probably meant to be that way but it definitely takes thinking.

Especially with the organizations names: A(x)el, Lar(x)ene, Marlu(x)ia, Ve(x)en, Ze(x)ion, (X)igbar,
(X)aldin, Le(x)aeus, Sai(x) (Who also has an X shape scar on his face), Demy(x), and Lu(x)ord.

I used a spoiler tag just in case if no one wanted to know the names.......just in case, I don't know.

Any way, as far as Final Fantasy characters, I haven't seen that many show up yet so far. Of course there's Auron, and not that long ago Leon and Cloud are shown back to back ready to fight in a trailer.

As well, back on Destiny Islands I've seen Selphie appear in a trailer. But for now that's all I know on Final Fantasy Characters who'll show up. Though I have heard a rumor that Yuna from Final Fantasy X will show up, that has yet to be proven however.

My big question though is on the Blonde Haired Kid, who looks exactly like Sora. Gets to fight with his own keyblades, and he still has no name!

I found on a website that they said the BHK's name was Roxas. They said it was official because one of the tracks had his name in it. That was how they confirmed it.

Well I've seen cutscene's from the Kingdom Hearts II and his name is Roxas, his friends were calling him that at least. So it's not only confirmed by the track name.

I agree with AnimeOutlaw you should definitely pick up the first game before you play the second, you'll probably enjoy it much more. Plus I had heard if you don't play the first beforehand that there will be loose ends from the last game that are not understandable otherwise.

Plus for the Nightmare Before Christmas world this time around, it actually follows much more along on the lines of the actual movie. With Santa Clause, Oogie Boogie, Jack dressed up in his santa suit, Zero like a rudolph type character, Lock, Shock, and Barrel. All of those characters will be returning and I'm more excited that it will be following more along with the movie.

let me explain what I mean,
roxas ends up fighting some white creature (don't know the name of it) at the start. He also ends up in twilight town, and dresses in mostly white

on the other hand

Sora ends up fighting a Darkside before destiny islands is destroyed. Then ends up in Traverse town, where it's always night. And dresses in mostly black.

With Roxas, during one of the boss battle's he uses the Oblivion keyblade and the Oathkeeper keyblade in the battle.

With Sora, he has a dual wielding ability, however, it can be only used in his Drive Forms when he merges with Donald, Goofy, or Both. There are 5 drive forms and 3 of them let you dual-wield keyblades.

Here's a list of the five (Information from Kingdom Hearts Ultimania):

Valor Form --> Merged with Goofy/ Weapon: Dual-wielding Keyblades

Changes
- You change into a red costume
- You wield 2 Keyblades
- You can choose which Keyblades you use (Default: Kingdom Key & Oathkeeper)

Pros
- Strength increases
- Speed increases
- More attacks in each combo
- Attack animations are different
- You can give damage to Goofy instead of Sora

Cons
- When merged with Goofy, he is no longer in your party
- You can't use Magic
- The Drive Gauge runs out

Wisdom Form --> Merged with Donald/ Weapon: Single Keyblade, but longer

Changes
- You change into a blue costume
- Your Keyblade length increases, you carry it behind you
- The command menu changes from "Attack" to "Shoot"
- "Shoot" allows your Keyblade to fire a Magic white bullet at an enemy
- Instead of running, you glide along the floor

Pros
- Magic increases
- Different Magic attacks can be combined to make bigger combos
- Magic can be used in rapid succession

Cons
- When merged with Donald, he is no longer in your party
- The Drive Gauge runs out quicker

Master Form --> Merged with both Donald and Goofy/ Weapon: Dual-wielding Keyblades

Changes
- You change into a yellow costume
- You wield 2 Keyblades

Pros
- Strength increases
- Magic increases
- You don't physically control both of the Keyblades, you control one of them with magic

Cons
- When merged with both Donald & Goofy, they are no longer in your party
- The Drive Gauge runs out quicker

Final Form --> Merged with both Donald and Goofy (You can also fly in this form)/ Weapon: Dual-Wielding Keyblades

Changes
- You change into a silver costume
- You wield 2 Keyblades

Pros
- Strength increases
- Magic increases
- The Keyblades seem to attack as if they have a mind of their own

Cons
- When merged with both Donald & Goofy, they are no longer in your party
- The Drive Gauge runs out quicker

Anti Form --> Merged with a Heartless after overuse of the Drive (Sora is supposed to look much like how he did with his shadow form in the first Kingdom Hearts, back at Neverland where he was dark with the yellow eyes.)/ Weapon: Claws

Changes
- You turn into a Heartless like form but remain looking like Sora
- You lose your Keyblades and you fight with claws just like a Heartless would

Pros
- This form appears when you drive a lot
- Strength increases
- You attack so fast and in large combos that the damage is great

Cons
- When merged with both Donald & Goofy, they are no longer in your party
- "Attack" is the only option on the command menu
- The Drive Gauge runs out quicker

WARNING!!! HUGE SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Ansem from KH is not Ansem. He's a disciple of the real Ansem. His name is Xehohart (I think).
The real Ansem's name is what we now know as DiZ which stands for "Darkness in Zero" or something along those lines.
Roxas is part of Sora's heart that is needed for Namine to complete Sora's recovery.
Axel dies in a kamikaze attack to save Sora and Roxas.
Roxas was part of the Organtization ranked/numbered at 13. He and Axel were like brothers. DiZ rearranged Roxas's memories and that's where the story starts.

Yay for that, however, Kingdom Hearts II is said to only ship on March 28, 2006 and won't arrive in most stores until the 29th. So that is when I'm going to pick up the game, as I was told by my local GameStop that the game will not arrive until the 29th.

Too bad that Ansem/Xehanort's voice is not played by Billy Zane in this time around in the second game. Instead it's another voice actor, I'm not sure of his name at the moment, but one of the roles he plays is Ziggy from the Xenosaga video games.

I am way to excited for this game, it's finally here in less than 24 hours!

I intend to get this game, but very doubtful right off the bat.

Yea I know this sounds crazy to some of you, but I just don't think its not the greatest RPG ever and same goes with FF these days. I just think there are a lot more RPG's to try and like outside of MMO's, KH and FF at least I think so.

I did play the import version for quite a while (doubt any of you believed me) and go to Hallow Baston for a while so I got some idea of what the game is like. I do think it is impressive and more interesting than the 1st the way the scenes occur and the gameplay though I still think the gameplay is a bit mushy. I definately would like to play it for multiple reasons and I give you all the best of luck and enjoy the game.

I guess my point is that there is a lot more to games than what is popular out there so expand your horizons and try something new. Years later there will be great underated games that will become scrase while KH becomes eternal in stock at least thats how I think of these things. There was only one game I got real excited for and I already got it. It is Suikoden V, it is a great game that follows the glory days of I and II so I say give that a go as well RPG buffs and maybe try the other ones to boot (except IV).

KH is coming to stores very soon and have lots of fun. Peace!

My brother bought the first game when it came out , and I never played it until a week ago ( finished it in 20 something hours).I can honestly say I might as well just left it there, it was meh nothing special , and by the end I had dreams of running kairi over with a semi truck. Sorry goofy , donald you have been loyal friends since my childhood but I thought your game was average.

Demonshadow gives the first one ....70%. So no I wont be buying the second one.

I've been playing now for 6 hours. This game rocks with the mightiness. I'm impressed with the new battle system. I think its easier to use, even though they added stuff to it. I love Christopher Lee and his voice!

As Kaze said, I've been playing Kingdom Hearts 2 for 6 hours so far, and it does rock. Despite the game starting out with Roxas, I really liked his story. Very matrix-like. The story is very strong so far, and the first new Disney villian that shows up is one of my favourites. The combat engine is pretty fun, but the only flaw to me is how the items and magic are mixed together in the shortcut bar. It's kind of inconvienient. I used to have a shortcut bar for magic, and I could quickly navigate the mini menu for items. But now, I have to use a shortcut bar for both, which only gives me four options. Unless I'm missing something, that's the only thing I'm dissapointed with.

However, I'm very impressed with the drive form. Dual wielding keyblades rocks. As well as using the triangle button at certain times to dodge attacks, or deliver cool special attacks.

The story is directly related to Chain of Memories (I haven't played that though). There aren't as many cutscenes later in the game, but if you really get tired of them, you can skip them altogether (just press start).

I got the game yesterday as well with my friend, we also picked up the Limited Edition Strategy Guide. I played the game for about the same time of 6 hours and I'm up to the Land of Dragons. I don't mind the overall cutscenes, there wasn't enough in the first game at least. Everything is improved, though the Gummi Ship is what I really have to get used to the most.

Ok, i've hit my first snag. There are the heartless called Hot Rods that are kicking my ass left, right and sideways and I can't progress until I kill them. After 22 hours of gameplay, I guess this is a sign I need to put it down.

Hot Rods are one of the most annoying enemies in the game. It's easy enough to get them down to about 1/2 to 1/3 health, but then they go on a rampage that cannot be damaged by physicaly attacks (at least not yours). There are two (three later on in the game) options:

1. Simply lock on to one of them and wait for them to zoom by 3 times. Try and estimate where they will stop on the last rush and run over there to air combo them.

2. Go into your menu and set Goofy's skills to different frequencies (using the triangle button). You want the Goofy Tornado to be at the highest and the others cna be either turned off, or put to a low frequency. The Goofy Tornado is not that strong, but it does trap enemies right next to Goofy for you to air combo. It also deflects shots, and hark, it actually sucks up the Hot Rod enemies when they are in their invincible mode making them much easier to kill.

3. Later on, you get the spell Magnet which is helpful because you can suck them up and just wail on them with air combos or magic (i.e. Thunder).

I'm up to the 'World That Never Was'. Hey, I've been busy with a life outside of Kingdom Hearts and wasn't able to get that far in the amount of time I had. If I had more time I would've beaten it by now.

What I'm a little dissapointed about is how Roxas' time was so short, he was an awesome character, but he has his little story arc in the beginning, that's it.

It makes me wonder what Kingdom Hearts III will be like, I have a feeling that Sora will not return as the main hero. Who knows, I might be wrong.

its not only tutorial though, its actually part of the story, you learn about roxas' background and his friends/rivals plus you can get treasure chests and so on.

i'm almost done with it... trying to beat sephiroth(fuking long sword...)

so far favorite world is the world that doesnt exist... i think thats it name...

so far after my 29 hours of play, i'm on level 60... i would be at like 75 if the collessium gave exp points... damn under dome...

How did you find out that information? Some say they will be, some say they won't. I really just think it wouldn't fully be Kingdom Hearts if Sora wasn't in it, with being the main character twice I guess they can't just drop him.

Though a reason(s) I assume that he's not in the third game would be:

Riku, Sora, and Kairi had all returned to Destiny Islands at the end of Kingdom Hearts II, what else do they have to do? Sora did say though that as long as he has the keyblade, he has to continue fighting. However, would he still have the keyblade after he went back home? Also it was stated by Saix that there were other keyblade masters 'before' Sora. He stated it indirectly, but sure enough the statement he spouted literally meant there have been warriors like Sora in the past who wielded the Keyblade. And lastly, to state the fact that the Keyblade had TWO results, for one wielder it saved the world, for another result it brought chaos and ruin. I have yet to see any chaos or ruin brought on by the Keyblade and misused for the wrong reason.

Well I'm not sure, Tetsuya Nomura had never stated whether Kingdom Hearts III would be a sequel or a prequel yet either.

Other than that, I beat Kingdom Hearts II! Last night at about 11 p.m. I died a once in the final battle, but I'm just glad I was able to beat it. ...Though I was playing the game in Easy Mode. Oh well, now to move on to the Normal/Standard Mode.

EDIT: I forgot about the Keyblade Wars. I'm really excited on how Square Enix will take this idea and go with it. Though did you see in the secret ending? There were thousands, maybe even millions of different keyblades there, however, the three warriors picked up the one's that were wielded by Sora, Riku, and King Mikey. Out all those Keyblades. Plus, The Door to the Light must play a part somewhere I think, nobody really understands what it is, and what exactly lies beyond it quite yet.

whats the best weapon to fight with against sephiroth, and what level should i be at(i'm in standard mode right now) right now i'm using ultima weapon and i'm at level 70, he keeps catching me off gaurd with the move you can react with triangle when i'm mid flight. i wanna beat sephiroth before i beat the game.

Well the Valor Form levels up for each hit you land on a enemy.

Wisdom levels up by each Heartless (the small little ones that are so common in the beginning of "The world that never was") defeated.

Master levels up by each Drive orb you get small ones=1 point, big ones=3.

Final levels up by each defeated Nobody (or Nobodie).

My Valor and Final are at level 5. I myself am now at 95.

lvl 75, sephiroth is still a b*tch... he starts cornering me in with those darkness balls and his fire attack... i even with ultima my mp charge isn't fast enough for me to heal when i need to... so i depend on items, which take a shiit load of time to use... i have berserk off idk whether to use it or not.

Well, for Sephiroth, you already have the best weapon, the next thing you should do is make sure you have these abilities (amongst the others you want to use):

Combo Boost
Air Combo Boost
Retaliation Slash (use this to stop Sephiroth from air juggling you)
Aerial Spiral (used to stop Heartless Angel attack)
Guard
Counter Guard (to stop Sephiroth's combos)
Once More
Once Again (or whatever it's called)
Aerial Dodge (used to stop Heartless Angel attack)
Glide
Quick Run (to get away from the fire pillars he puts up)

You probably want to equip yourself with Elixirs and Hi-Potions and set the one you have most of to one of your short cut keys (avoid using cure unless absolutely necessary). Also equip Reflect to one of those slots as you need it to keep those orbs away from you. Make sure you have good accessories and armor on (and you should be able to sythesize some since you already have the Ultima weapon). Also, if you haven't already, max out your forms, as those abilities are a great help.

If you need a more specific way to fight him, I can write something up.

I found the perfect area to level up your master form to level 7 easily (if you have the final form as well, if not, go to hercules's world and enter the cerberus cup and keep drive forming until you got the final form. It's how I got mine). Anyway, go to Radiant garden and into that big maze room (it has those big red guys that conjure up those annoying fire ball things) before the area where the Tron world is. So prety much just kill as much of those red guys in your master form (with the lucky lucky ability equiped to get more drive orbs) before you drive gauge runs out (I suggest when it's down to 1 before 0) run over to the computer that takes you into trons world and (if you had you drive guage at max before turning master form) you'll see that your drive guage is back to full. Access the computer againt return to RG and repeat the proccess. I find this to be the fastest way to up your master form, unable to say the same for the Valor form.

Nope, Moe, that's not it. Assuming you are on Standard Mode, at the end of the game after the credits, it gave you a percentage of how much of the Jiminy Journal was completed. It needs to be 100% in order to see the secret ending. If you are on Proud mode, all you have to do is beat every world.

Yes, you're able to leave 'The World That Never Was' at any save point located in the world. Just click the World Map button and travel to which ever would you would like to go to level up and such.

I'm trying to complete Jiminy's Journal, but there are some mini games that are just completely impossible to complete. Such as some of the jobs in Twilight Town, how am I supposed to push garbadge up a hill in 15 seconds? I could do it in 16.68 seconds but that's it. Any help on the subject of mini games is much appreciated.

Well when you complete one thing on the journal it will have the orange micky as a confirmation. If you completed all of the worlds stuff, Big orange micky on the world picture. Other then that the end of the game tells you.

For the posters, you need Lv 3 Aerial Dodge and Glide to do it. Not that you can do an Aerial Dodge (double jump) after putting up a poster, before hitting the ground.

Just started doing the jobs on the second day. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I wanted to know myself about the summons. At first glance I had some thought that YRP is going to be a summon. As soon as I found out that they aren't, I began thinking. Where do all these FF characters come into the story of KHII? Oh and Seifer don't look like himself without the sleeves and rather I'm not too fond of Aeris' dress in this. WAs better in VII anyway.

I'm having trouble and am trying to collect the synthesis materials, I'm missing 2. One I know how to get, however, the other I've run out of luck. I'm trying to find the Nobody 'Assasin' in the game in order to get the Twilight Gem, I've beaten the game all the way up to the point where you're at the last save point in The World That Never Was. I went through Twilight Town and couldn't find a single Assassin nobody. If any one knows where they're located at, it'd be great if someone could tell me the location.

You don't fight the assassins your first time through. Revisit the room right before the proof of existence room. There you will find four assassins.

I know that part already, I think you misunderstood of what I had said. I've beaten the game, I'm at the final boss, I went through everything already I just couldn't find Assasins in either Twilight Town or The World That Never Was. Thank you for the information, and thank you Moe as well.

Heres an original question for ya guys. Since this game is a matrimony marriage between Disney (Boo!) and Square (Yay!), then the characters within the game should get the same proper voiceovers right? Nope! Since when the hell did Seifer started talkin like an elitist? Owning Lamers? My god somebody fire that writer. Plus I noticed that the Disney characters have gotten the better lines within the dialogue, but Square's seem like cannon fodder in this sequel, one reference would be to Aeris' voiceover which is godawful. So I ask you, do you think that Disney is getting more of the hype in this and Square is part of the peanut gallery? Think about that for a second while I fly in the gummy ship.

It's a one line comment, people are overrating it too much, "We Totally Just Owned You Lamers." <--- That's the line, nothing special it was one bad line but just because of that I don't think it should be harshly judged as it has been recently.

Some of the voices could've been better for the Final Fantasy characters. Note: Aerith

Some voices you have to give credit to, such as Yuffie, Leon did a good job in my opinion, Cloud especially for being the first person to be the voice over for him, and of course the original Auron and YRP.

Disney does get most of the better lines, there is no questioning that part of the game, but you got to look behind just the Disney part and how Square and Disney brought a well-rounded story of two completely different worlds and created this game. Compared to the first, Final Fantasy characters are appearing and playing more of a role throughout each game.

umm Cloud's voice over was ok but it didn't fit the character Cloud is supposed to be a more chill mellow guy and he was just an angry guy out for revenge in this game.

Finally had time to play and beat the game. I would have liked less Disney characters and more plot but overall a great game. I do have one theory and I was wondering if anyone agrees.

I believe Axel to be Riku's Nobody since Riku embraced the Darkness he must have a Nobody plus the fact Roxas and Axel were friends.

Ok buddy the cartoons is what makes this game awesome that and a combination of the greatest game character ever (AXEL) makes the game unique, without good old walt, this game would just be another Final Fantasy.

No your wrong what makes it a great game is an interesting plot, great combat system, the music,fun mini games and so on. Disney felt much like it was tacked on as does the Final Fantasy characters. I would have found this game much more interesting if it had focused more on the nobodies and Roxas instead of a bunch of rehashed Disney worlds.

But, first to say...I guess I have to do a spoiler tag for this Riku doesn't have a nobody

Nobodies are created from the body and soul of a person, once it is cast aside by the heart. So, if you refer back to the first game, Ansem took control over his body and so his body was never cast aside and thus didn't have the ability to create a nobody.

By then Riku reclaimed his body, and he had both his body, soul, and his heart. However, he still had darkness surrounding his 'heart' nothing more than that, so when he embraced the darkness, the Ansem/Xehanort part in his heart took control over his identity, though he still had his body and soul just a different appearance for a little while. I don't quite understand either how referring to Roxas and Axel being friends makes any difference? The nobodies take on there names from there past lives and rearrange it so then it has an 'X' in it as well. Ex: Xehanort --> No Heart, Zexion --> Ienzo, Xigbar --> Braig, Roxas ---> Sora, and so Axel his name is either Lea, Ale, Eal, etc. That's how it works, plus the Organization are ranked by number. Axel is No. 8 in Organization XIII. In Chain of Memories, Riku ran into Axel once I'm sure, and organization members with a higher number up to No. 13 so by the time he embraced the darkness no nobody could've been created and then added to the organization.

I'm pretty positive on most of the information, I just don't see how Riku can have any sort of nobody.

You mentioned plot, the disney characters are half the plot without them the story is only parts, Half the fun is running into fimiliar faces, I mean how much did you wet your pants when sora came face to face with sephiroth again.

Not at all Sephiroth is old and tired. I am really getting sick of his status as a uber great villian when he really isn't. Disney grated on me alot more this time around and so did the FF characters. The plots were almost exactly the same as in the movies with a little change here and there. The beginning and the end of the game were the only places we got alot of original plot. The rest was basically a rehash of the last game with Sora looking for his friends again and visiting Disney worlds again. Also was it just me or did the purpose of them even going to the Disney worlds seem stupid. In the last game it felt like there was purpose and direction. In this one it just felt tacked on and Sora spent half the game wondering about and randomly running into Nobodies. They could have done alot of interesting things with Roxas and the Nobodies but instead they spent it on boring Disney plots. The end game section was kickass and it was great when you got Riku instead of Donald and Goofy but overall it disappointed me how much of the game felt incomplete.

Your right Sakura but I what I really meant to say was Symbolic Nobody since Roxas and Axel had a similar kind of friendship like the one Riku and Sora have. Also I felt bad for the Nobodies and felt kinda cheated by how Sora killed them off without any regret. Also as for Riku not having a nobody he could well have had one way before Sora did.

Are you crazy I bet you didn't even beat him in the first KH, I'm not talking ff7 that was a cakewalk, but in KH You hade to be like at least level 85-90 to beat hin and even then I had so much trouble so yeah when you run into him in KH2 and your like only lv 38 you should be freaking out.

He was tough but he is not that interesting a villain and I did beat him in the first game. Also the whole Cloud and him thing is beyond annoying.

Dudes', i beat Sepiroth at level 45 in KH, it was about his pattern. Not hard at all, well ofcourse I did lose a couple of times but other then that...easy. I have heard that he is tougher in this one. I can't wait till i fight him.

OMIGOSH!!!! Finally, I have KH II in my PS2.

So far, it's a stunning sequel. The graphics are as fluid as ever before, the storyline is quite interesting, and all of the new features are hella intoxicating! I don't think I'll resurface my room for quite some time...
