Are you serious Moe?

They don't have similar character designs because it's square enix, they have the same characters, because it's a game in which the worlds of Disney and Final Fantasy are one. If there's a character who looks like Cloud, that's probably because it's Cloud...

i personally dont think that they do, but she might think that partially b/c they are both from square enix...(hair styles are a little close though...)

All the characters in Kingdom Hearts seem to just be ripped off FF7 characters... A lot of the girls look like YUffie and A lot of the guys look like Cloud. It seems like they're running out of good character designs...

This may possibly be caused by the fact that the same people did the character designs for both games. They look nothing alike, by the way. Running out of good character designs? WTF, Kingdom Heart's character designs only get better, whilst FF just keeps churning out the generic.

I disagree. When Sora donned the black clothes, I knew that this game was going towards cliche rather than original in terms of appearance. I remembered my friend telling me to look closely at the characters. What did I see?

Lots of zippers, and a bad attempt to make everyone look cool.

I actually liked Sora in his old clothing, because I felt it reflected him as a person; someone who was carefree and didn't feel the need to be worried. The black clothing to me symbolizes Square Enix giving in to the rabid fans who want Sora to look like another cool guy (Leon... Cloud... Seph...)

THEN they had the nerve to put Mickey in that... that... those clothes. I was like "Okay, now you're REALLY pushing it." Seriously, I didn't come to play this game for eye candy, much less the type of eye candy that we've seen a billion times.

While it's a great game, they could have at least focused more on gameplay and plot sequence rather than making the characters look like what the fans want... That's how animes like Gundam SEED Destiny fall, and games can fall the same way.

As for to state on the Kingdom Hearts franchise, I am a big fan of Kingdom Hearts but I myself would like it to end at the third game, and not to become a new Final Fantasy. The beginning of the second game with Roxas was necessary to learn some of the information for the later story in the game, plus newcomers to the game are able to get used to the controls if they did not play the first. There are some worlds where in no way they played any role to the main story, but you got to look at the work put into the game as well. Yes, it does have its flaws, such as an easy battle system and in some cases the story, but the voice acting, some of the original characters, and most of the story had to be given major props.

I think that Kingdom Hearts II is the best game ever by Square-Enix! Even though I didn't have a chance to play Kingdom Hearts I, I get a lot of positive feedbacks from my friends who had an opportunity to play it! Kingdom Hearts is my all-time favorite game!

The world I like most is Hollow Bastion, Like the scenery there, but what I don't like there is the time I have to fight Sephiroth where he has 10 lives and I only have 1 and Goofy and Donald were not able to fight with me! Kind of bummed there because I have to try to beat him again and again!

I just don't get tired of playing it over and over again! I'm kind of confused though, why the heck did Sora and Kairi have nobodies?

Well, Sora became a Heartless, by trading his own heart to save Kairi, in Kingdom hearts 1. So because he became a Heartless a Nobody of him was also born, and Sora's nobody is Roxas. Can't remember about Kairi though

But even your question is not a good enough reason to revive

Kairi was unique in that she created a nobody without becoming a heartless herself. Her nobody is Namine.

But didn't the villians steal her heart in the first game, because she was one of the seven princesses (because she was all quiet and lifeless, like she lost her heart)? And then Sora had to unlock the memories of Kairi in his heart with Riku's keyblade, to get her heart back? Therefore, if she lost her heart because of that, it's almost like being "heartless", which would create a nobody.

Sounds about right.

I tried, I've beaten it, I played the previous two games, not my thing. Game was pretty fun, but the plot had way too much filler and was not that engaging. Suikoden V came around the same time and it was outstanding, but so neglected. Oh well, to his his/her own. I am bound to give KH3 a whirl whenever that emerges.
