The manga, i've read the first graphic novel, but i've seen all of the anime, not sure but i think the manga is still running.The concept of people that "can summon ancient spirits" has been done and have been seen before(specially by me), i prefer the original. ORA!

I've read it out of Shonen Jump...and I like it. The manga is much better than the anime in my personal opinion.

Shaman King is my favorite manga. It has everything I want, enjoy, everything. I despise the anime for they began to change stuff later on and ended up ruining the great story the manga told. Shaman King is awesome.

its a great series. its got a little bit of everything in one enjoyable package. great for kids and kids at heart alike.

Hn. I've read the first 40 or so chapters and quite enjoyed it, but not enough to buy it and thus keep up with it. Could anyone who has read till the end and seen the anime tell me how the two endings differ? I heard the differences were actually quite dramatic. Using the proper spoiler tags and all, of course.

For the record, my favourite chatacter was Ren.

I don't know practically anything about its manga, but Shaman King as an anime is quite mediocre to me. One of those somewhat forgettable series :tmi:...

Never got to see all of it what i saw i loved. You know, I kinda forgot it existed until now. They haven't passed it in TV for a long time. Kinda miss it. But yeah, i liked the anime

I liked both the anime and manga. Some say the anime is mediocre, but it's actually one of the better anime series' to have come to our shores. ^^
