Kingdom Hearts: Which World is your overall favorite

Hey people! This thread is for the sole purpose of getting everyone's favorites around. This thread also is to discuss what worlds you'd love to play at in Kingdom Hearts II.

My favorite world(s) are Wonderland (not lotus forest though, ugh), Traverse Town, and Hollow Bastion (not the lift stop, just the castle chapel and library)

I would love to visit Snow White's World (let's beat the crap out of the evil queen and old witch), King Arthur's Castle (Sword in the Stone), Mirage Island (The Incredibles, lol, it'd be fun beating up Syndrome and you can put any of the incredibles in your party), Great Mouse Detective world..., Bug's Life, and Beast's Castle (Beauty and the Beast - Gaston is the new Clayton)

I"m a huge final fantasy fan... I just bought Kingdom of Hearts the other day and its pretty cool. I cant wait to get to Halloween Town.

I really like the End of the World the most, you get to revisit all the world's you visited and find out more information along the way before the final battle plus I love the devil boss as well in there. For Kingdom Hearts 2 beast's castle will be part of the game which I hope it'll be good as well as Mulan (I can't wait^^) and Halloween town once again though Christmas town will be part of it just like the movie.

You know the devil boss is actually from a disney movie. It's from Fantasia at the VERY end.

Halloweentown was really good, because it was just fun to walk around in. I liked Hollow Bastion because that was where I fought the Heartless just to level up (a necessary thing in order to beat Sephiroth.)

As to the discussion of Kingdom Hearts 2, that's one of the games I'm really looking forward to in 2005. Including the worlds that have already been mentioned, there's also Hades's Underworld and Twilight Town, which will be familiar to anyone who's played Chain of Memories.

Oh it has to be HollowBastion :icon_danc That place had such a gothic feel to it, and I dont mean 'punk goth' but that archaic goth, just like I would imagine the castle from B&TB was ^^

Yeah, the Archaic gothica of Hollow Bastion is not to be ignored, and I liked the music there as well. It also had the best bosses in the entire game. I couldn't stand End of The World. They made all of the maps too hard to navigate. I had NO idea what I was doing for the first half of the level and the second half was enough to make me cry as there were about ten boss fights in a row.

Halloween Town was my close, close runner up to Hollow Bastion. My least favorite was Atlantica, as the swimming controls made me want to vomit.

ooh, i love hollow bastion best of all, that map was friggin genius. i loved the whole layout and the whole map felt like some deserted castle. both the inside and outside of the world was very interesting, the designs on the walls and ceilings helped to amplify that effect; the whole world was beautiful. not to mention it had some of my favorite bosses there, and the story really jumped a few notches on that one world.

Yes, the shapes of the castle were awesome.
The music annoyed me.
End of the World was okay to navigate and there were only 3 in a row at the end or 4 if you count the fantasia monster. but that wasn't in a row.
And I thought the boss fights with Dragon, Riku (1) and Riku (2) were annoying. I personally loved beating the crap out of Maleficent in her sorceress form though.

I loved Halloween too with the Oogie Boogie fight. The stage for the battle and setting were sooo cool.

Haha. Yeah, that was very cool. First time in any game world where I was able to fly around at will and beat up badies. Very fun.

Same thing for me. I loved Hallow Bastion. Better weapons, more story info, and the design and monsters there were so interesting.

Also, navigating Traverse Town with it's many secrets, puzzles and bosses was very fun.

flying was nice but it doesn't compare to a beutiful design like hollow bastion or worthy opponents like olympus
although if chain of memories is in play twilight town did rock not much fun fighting vexen at the end though

I liked Hollow Bastion, it just had this epic feel to it, with all the princesses and you fighting alongside THE BEAST.

End of the World was damn cool too, except having to fight all those darksides was irritiating. X_X

I highly doubt that the kingdom hearts franchise wants an "M" on thier next game cover. Its a good book and all but special pills, magic mushrooms, and hookahs just dont make for a good childrens game.

I voted for End of the World, buy my real favorite was Destiny Island simply because I enjoyed seeing all of the Final Fantasy characters. I was thinking how much fun I would have watching a anime series about these kids just living their day to day lve in Destiny Island.

Am I one of the only people that didnt like Hollow Bastian? The outside of the castle was cool, and it contained some of the best story elements, but I found the majority of the inside of the castle to be dull. The whole level just felt too long as well. Also, the save points were pretty far between, and you could fall of the edge of the castle if you weren't careful (not that I ever did, but I hated the sense of paranoia). It did have some of the best music though.

My favourites had to be Neverland, The Collosium, and Traverse Town. I loved Neverland because you could fly (and fighting Captain Hook was very fun). I loved the Collosium because I got to fight both Cloud and Squall at the same time (as well as just have fun in the tournaments). Traverse Town was just the best looking place in my opinion.

Destiny Island, i loved it cause you got to see the Final Fantasy characters as children. Traverse town cause it was a beautiful level design wise. and the end of the world cause it was just gorgous.

Hollow Bastion- most Final Fantasy characters are there! Especially my crush Yuffie and Tifa! Love the action there where I have to beat 1000 heartless!


Twilight Town - Most fun I've experienced playing Kingdom Hearts!


Ancient China (Mulan's World) - most challenging! Got to beat heartless as fast as I could or the morale is going to drop!

I guess Hollow Bastian was my favorite, but I do like them all. I did not like Halloween town that much. I did really like China which was left off that list and Neverland cause you can fly. Agrabah is pretty fun too and I did like Twilight Town cause of the skateboard and stuff.
