If you could make an anime of your own what would you call it and what would it be about? I think there was a post of this before... can't remember...

It would be about a counterterroist unit of two guy's like noir but much better it would be called Team Ghost.

I'd have one with complete crap for the plot and characters, but I'd hire Iwasaki Taku to do the music. Everyone will hate the anime, but love the soundtrack, and will go out in droves to buy it. Then I'd be rich, rich I tells ya!

I would make an anime about thirteen year old boys and girls who have nothing better to do with their time than to go to little forums, post little threads, make little jokes, and be a little stupid (all right, really stupid). The music will consist of coughing, laughing, and foot tapping, all synchronized quite well to make it appear as 'background "music"'. Each episode ends with a dumbass getting banned from one of the forums, resulting in tears, going angsty-teenager-rebel mode, and ending the day with masturbation (which will be heavily censored, for obvious reasons).
I'm sure it'll be a hit in the US. I don't know about Japan, though. :)

Actually there have been two threads like this that I can recall, one being mine, but who really cares. (Not me +_+)

I actually on occasion think up my own ideas for anime, and video games. Lately ive been thinking of this sorta romantic drama anime. I havent really come up with much of a plot yet but it seems preety cool. (In my head anyway) :P

An anime about e-relationships!!

Ah, whatever. An anime that surrounded the world of gaming would be fun, I guess..

It would take a long time to tell about these ideas, but I am planning on several mangas. I've already made my way a bit into one called Duel of the Gods (combines 4 odd themes: Military, Knights, Indians and Gods. Doesnt make sense? It actually goers together quite well). Although I havnt had any time to really draw it in the past 2 years. I hope to start drawing once college ends. The others are called Broken Haven (about drifters and has a sort of western theme) and The Messenger (somewhat military themed). But I'm not that serious about these titles, unless Duel of the Gods doesnt work out for me. But anyway, if I wanted to make an anime, it'd be from one of these 3.

I would make an anime that would make all others seem like crap. I realize that there are many great anime out there, but when you measure the level of greatness of Miyazaki movies to any other anime (period) you can see where I'm coming from. I want to make "good" anime. Not just anime for selling toys, or for teenage googly bullshit, nor even for the sake of making a show about amazing people doing amazing things.... it would be a show where the entire audience could connect with it. Something like the drama shows of today on US TV.

That's right. I would make a true drama for Japanese TV in anime form. It would break all molds, of course, because anime and drama don't belong in the same sentence 95 percent of the time. Still, I think I could do it. In fact, I know I could.

Title: MRB
Genre: Comedy
# of: 30 episodes
Plot: The freshman, Maiko, Robin, and Baretto are enrolled in a Japanese 1 class. Maiko is half african, Robin is full Japanese, and Baretto is an exchange student from America. The three don't know the language, but are still enrolled in a japanese school in Osaka where they begin their learning of Japanese. Maiko is known for his bad accent, Robin is known for writing hiragana caligraphy, and Baretto is known as the kaiwa (conversation) ace. The three put their faith in each other as students who don't know the language and practice the kaiwa they have to memorize with a rhythmic beat from Maiko. Robin and Baretto find it comical to sing the kaiwa, and soon, the three become a kaiwa Japanese Class performing trio known as MRB. (The main idea is some comical stereotypical things and at the end of each episode, a kaiwa is performed).

(Japanese names need to be created for these English names that I've made for a short story) At Azalea High School, the volleyball team is all about drama. Everyone is negative and there are very few friends there. A Freshman/Sophomore team has been created. Brett, Simon, James, Ervin, Nick, Kevin, Twins Marc and Marco, Alex, and Aaron are a part of this team and the drama that comes behind the ball is extreme.

Every weekend, Hillary invites her friends over to her house. The problem? The friends Hillary invites all hate each other. There's Hillari's boyfriend, Josh, Hillary's cousin, Brett, Hillary's best friend, Jeselyn, and Matt, a kid Hillary babysat. The drama between these fractious friends is only too funny, but has the will to go too far...

Title: What Happens Here, Stays Here

I would make an anime about a half demon and a human who broke this jewel into millions of shards and for it to be 167 episodes long and have the supposed couples never get together, they never beat the bad guy and have a walking corpse that happens to be the half demons former love and a love triangle will form. What do you think?

Just kidding.... though if I could it would be about a journey with a small group of people and wouldn't be in the 100 or 200 episode long things. It would have a mixture of Comedy and Romance, creative huh? And the show will have a plot not sure of what it'll be but it's just an idea, that now doesn't make much sense^^

Well I write stories that I later hope to adapt as Manga, that I later hope to adapt as anime which I later hope to adapt at video games. So then I can sit down and cry with joy as I control my characters across a big screen. But anyway my idea is no new concept....
It's called the Tale of Sigil and Devion. It's about two close but different friends who work for a mercenary agency called HaveN. (yes the n is supposed to be capatilized.) If any one is actually interested I could give an actual summary of it because I have one saved on my comp I'm just not sure if anyone would have a big enough attention span to watch it.

Sorry should've clarified. The counter-terrorist thing was a pretty good idea. I just thought the title was lame. I mean "Team Ghost" just doesn't sound that good to me. But it sounds like it could be very cool and dramatic if you developed the characters well enough.

The other idea would be better if the students weren't just randomly fighting the demons and angels, but got caught up in a conflict between the two sides, or something along those lines.

The first one was better though, just change the title.

A boy is on a table in the ER he doesn't know who he is or how he got there. The doctors work on his broken body but it is to late. The boy lays on the table dying, blood running from one corner of his mouth dripping on to the floor. In his final seconds of life the boy wonders who he is and what happened but it is too late everything is fading..... slowly lights blink off and on inside his head then as he is taking his last breath everything stops. The pain is gone and then he feels himself dripping out of his body just like his blood onto the floor like he is no longer there just a small wave on a raging sea then he feels a presence in and around him. It speaks to him as if it is not one voice but many, good! we are not to late to save you. We just couldn't risk letting you die and have one of them drain you when you got to their sick little paradise.Do you know who you are?No, oh thats fine for now but soon you will have to start to remember. They don't know you are a new one and not a fake. What does that mean you ask? You are a new soul there are hardly any coming out of the vent now. They sealed it shut but somehow you got pasted the seal and are here now. You may have died quickly but that could hold in our favor. You see you are a real soul most of all existences living cannot claim that. Not since they started shattering souls and sucking the true essence away. None of the people that exist on this planet are real in fact only you and us truly can be considered real. Does that scare you to know all those doctors are just shells of a real soul? The boy says nothing , thats ok we don't expect you to really understand..... not yet but soon. First we must grant you a gift a new better body, that one you had was very beat up. Are you ready? You know you must come with us. Also if you do come we can tell you about the project and why everything is the way it is. Also we can help you recover your memorys or give you new ones it matters not which way. So come with us and cast off your limited existence I can tell you it wlll be fun.

Title: The Mafia's Alumna
Length: 13 episodes
Summary: Jessie and Jamie are the two beautiful daughters of a wealthy crime lord. Sent into exile after an incident involving a badly programmed timebomb, they begin to work as assassins. Jamie, with her martial arts, and Jessie with her gunplay were almost the ultimate in that line of work...unless the place they're going after has a security system, or they would have to kill every single gaurd that saw them. Luckily for them, they meet a man named Josh. Josh can bypass almost any security system by shooting out cameras or just plain dodging motion sensors. Together they form the team or assassins 'The Blue Jays' because of their names, which was Jamie's idea. One day on a normal heist, they get captured, and are forced to work for the government, but then Jamie finds out a bit more than she should have...and soon the three of them have the government and the mafia after them and are desperately trying to escape the cycle of death they have built around them.

Characters:
Jamie: Age 17. Brown hair, blue eyes, horn-rimmed glasses. Excellent at picking simple locks with hairpins. Even though she's the daughter of a crime lord, she can't help but think that what they do is wrong. She will steal to get what she wants...and if necessary kill to get what she needs.

Jessie(Jessica): Age 23. Black hair, blue eyes, often wears sunglasses. Excellent hacker. Jessie is soulless to those she does not know and will usually be the one that kills gaurds who see too much. However, get her as a friend and you have a ferociously loyal ally.

Josh(Joshua): Age 21. Brown hair, brown eyes. Can take out ANY security system. Stealthy. Although he's not the best fighter his cover from the shadows often lets him gain the element of surprise. Doesn't like to let on too much about himself, but he belonged to some organization that he quit of his own accord.

Background: I will have a 26 episode series with the setting in a world where the world is divided into two classes: the nobles from outer space and the proletariat (aka slave) on earth. This division of classes occurs after a massive virus breakout forces people to immigrate to the incomplete space station in 2026. (note: total of 1000 scientists go to space) The people from space return to earth after 50 years and they find that over 90% of the population has died; however, the remainining 10% created an immunity to it. This class of people is seen as an inferior race since due to the mass virus outbreak, the people remaining on earth become backwards in thought and technology.
The basic story will consist of a cast of about 10 main characters. The two major characters will be a 15 year old boy from the proletariat class and a 35 year old man formerly of the noble class. The older man has ended his life journey and is settling down; however, the boy is just begining to start his own journey. The two live together with the boy's mother and sister in a peaceful farming village until the second war between the nobles and proletariat begin.

An anime based on the street gangs in L.A. would be pretty cool, a group of friends who become a wannabe street gang, but slowly their leaders dream turns them into one of the most feared gangs in L.A. Slowly they grow apart, until jealousy, hatred, ambition, and the hellish environment they live in threaten to destroy them and the ones the love. I have a whole story planned out since I plan to make this into a novel, but an anime would be dope too.

If I am to make an anime... it would be one of two things. It would either be something written by Jing Yong who is the writer of Condor Hero. Or, it would be something I wrote myself. This is my 100th post, so I might as well make it long by sharing one of my short stories that I might wanna make an anime out of.

Yes, there was a storm, and it’s brewing outside the hospital windows. The rain is splashing itself against the panes with such force that I thought the windows was ready to shatter as they have in my oh-so-real dream. I was in one of those 50’s hospital bunkers that you saw in M.A.S.H., and they are equally uncomfortable. The deco design of the room gave away the identity of the age of this hospital, which must have been some late 1920’s design, early American.

I still feel the soreness on my arms, and it has spread to the rest of my body, yet I can’t feel my hands from wrist on. They have been bandaged as though some damage has been done. My back was in terrible pain, as I can barely lie on it without trying to squirm into another position, yet any movement caused more pain, so I was constricted. And, yes, it was a dark evening or morning when I have awakened.

The nurse comes in and checks on me. A wavy haired blonde, not unlike a miniature version of a Claudia Schiffer lot, a diligent nurse, she checks my bandages with uninterruptible concentration. As ill as I felt, I said hello. She made no response. She wore dark glasses, which mystified me for it was dark and storming outside. She injects something into me, and I fell back into something that has awakened the ghostwriter again.

I removed the bandages that covered my wrist and my torso. I removed the glasses that was worn on this flaccid haired nurse and asked her to take me on a ride out of this place. Without a word, she took my hand and led me to her beat up pre-1970s British Spitfire. The rain has made the road hard to see and manage; yet, she traversed through the terrain as if she knew it like the back of her hands. I sat back into the seat as much as I can, enjoying myself while letting her take the wheel of my destination.

She led me to a long stretch of winding roads that is populated with thousand-year-old trees. Barely any rain got on this stretch of road for the trees were shielding us, yet you can hear the splattering sound of water everywhere. The headlights on this beat up British mobile weren’t the strongest either, so looking ahead was arduous, so I left that to my pilot. Finally, after about an hour of travel, we were close to an edge of a cliff.

The nurse parks her car, and led me by my arm to the very edge. We were next to water. We can see distant ocean liners skimming across the ocean. The gusts of wind were very strong, and the trees around us were barely able to shield us from the wetness of the storm. The nurse walks into the rain and lets the water soak up her nursing uniform. She is a very petite person, about 5’3”, but her heeled boots elevated her to about 5’6”. Her silhouette is very apparent with her white uniform clinging to her very slender body.

She starts to sing in some language I never heard of. It could be her native language; perhaps it’s Norwegian or German. She spins herself around and around near the edge of the cliff. Closer and closer to the edge with every rotation, my body started to fall in her direction as to keep her away from the fathom that lies just over the cliff, a good 100 feet drop to a pile of wave beaten rocks.

Perhaps like a dream where I don’t have control of my own body, my will couldn’t let myself come any closer to hers. All I can do is hear her song, watch her spin, and feel the rain and wind that was pushing me back. This powerful sight did not awaken my spirit; in fact I was dormant as ever. Until a sense of remorse strikes through every part of my body when she fell over the cliff. I chased her body as far as I can until I’ve reached the very edge of the cliff, and I saw her wailing in mid air until the eventual splatter that was the end of her.

The rain was drowning the land that I was lying on, and I was drenched. My belly was on this land, and I can practically swim my way out. But I lay there, looking at the distance between me and this nurse who is wearing white, which I assumed to be red by now. I reached a hand out to her in a futile attempt to bring her back up. She takes my hand and, gingerly, I pulled her up the cliff and back on her feet.

With the rain and ocean washing away her blood, the redness was all but gone from her white nursing uniform. Her right leg was broken with a bone sticking out of her skin, so I lifted her up and carried her back to her car, and I placed her on the passenger side, for I knew she wasn’t able to drive. I reached over to her lips, and I gave her a kiss. I warmed her frozen lips where my tongue felt a damp cold life-less tongue receiving mine. I drove the car away from the cliff and back onto the winding road.

The road was becoming steeper as we were climbing up the mountain. At a steppe, I found a small abandoned dome shaped cabin that was overlooking the ocean. I tried to park the car as close to the cabin as I can, but it was hard to drive up the steep steppe, so I parked the Brit mobile about 75 yards away. I picked up the nurse once again, and I made my way to the cabin.

This cabin is actually some type of church. On the west side of the domed roof, there is a small slit opening in a shape of a crucifix that would have leaked light inside with the shape of a cross during every sunset. The stone cabin also had a portal that was also in the shape of a cross and random stained glassed windows flushed against the stoned walls of the cabin’s interior. I placed the nurse upon the altar, for it was the only flat surface where I could have placed her. She never moved an inch since I took her into the car. With her hair sticking to her back, and her dress tight on her petite body, she looked absolutely angelic.

The sun was just rising, and the stained glass windows started to glow with the sun. One streak of sunlight gleamed through a clear portion of a window and shined on the index finger of the motionless angelic nurse. I touched her finger where the sun had shone on her, and for the first time, her presence was almost as warm as my own. Her eyes have become sunken in and a black circle has started to envelope around her eyes. I thought she must be dead tired, so I thought to take the car and I start to look for a grocery store for some food.

I walked thru the cabin’s portal; outside I noticed the crucifix shaped opening behind me has disappeared. I turned back to push my way back in, but I couldn’t budge the stonewalls. There is absolutely no trace of an opening leading inside that was once there. As the sun rose higher, the sun’s rays started to reflect off the dome shaped cabin, and it created an illusion that the cabin was actually taking off. But after rubbing my eyes, I noticed, before my very eyes, this cabin seemed to be floating mid air. The dome church cabin was in a shape of a sphere with only small portholes, letting light to the stained glass windows inside, that showed any perforations on this, otherwise, perfectly smooth and shaped sphere.

Realizing the floating cabin was not a mirage; I put my hand on the cabin, trying to stop it from taking my nurse away from me. But it never stopped ascending upwards into the sky until it disappeared into the clouds and was totally out of my sight. Along with the orb, gone was the nurse, and a part of my own self, as well. With my arms, I held myself and knelt down begging for the sphere to come back, but it never did. With tears running down my cheeks, I walked back into the car, I started her up, and I recklessly drove back down the cliff.

I turned the radio on, and I sped home as fast as I can. It didn’t matter that I didn’t even know what continent I was on, or where I was going, I just pushed the gas pedal down as far as I could and aimed for home.

I am going to try to simiplify my story and explain it
Split soul/Shatter soul
The world as everyone knows it is a lie, or should we say as a single person knows it. Everyone around him are just pieces of real existences that have been shattered and split. Souls no longer flow from the vents that bring identity to the universe and no one knows why. However things are getting bad the universe is close to a end of all existences. Thats why when an "unknown person" suggests that they break souls apart to keep existence from becoming a blank everyone jumps at the idea. However this turns out to be a horrible mistake a few will live to regret this, instead of new souls forming from the pieces they are just fragments of the real people. A single planet can have millions and millions of different pieces of different souls. The end of everything is fast approaching and only a few will question the system and try to fix everything. As others use this time to gain power and control. They create the god worship system "GWS"a horrible machine from a location unknown. By saying when you die you go to god and go to heaven its all a lie instead the pieces just come together and when a soul is complete they restart the process after sucking all the energy from the souls which comes from their experiences of living. For true souls are gods themselves with great powers and gifts but now most of the remain ones are trying to gain power and control until the very end. There may however be hope a single soul comes through the vent, a new pure soul not old or tainted. The soul is born into a body and lives until it dies "how and why are still a mystery". The remaining old souls who fight the system save it. They however have grown weak and cannot last much longer before they go back to the otherside of the vents which leads to the unknown no one knows, no one tells. The soul embarks on a journey across the universe to uncover what or who is behind this and to try to bring back enough whole souls to fight back. Alone the way he meets a girl of even greater power then himself and secerts beyond understanding "if she has a soul at all remains a mystery". However he may not be able to stop the death of existence and if that happens what will happen?

I would like to hear what you guys/girls think of it
I didn't go much into detail but I think this wasn't a very bad description^^

Twin, I like the over all feel of your story as I am attracted to this type of genre. However, it seems to have a bit of a Matrix-esque plot, characters and background with the soul/gws being the architect, the powerful girl being neo, the main guy being Morpheus, the soul being sucked being the "batteries"... please don't take this as a criticism. I just find a lot of commonalities.

I promise you it is nothing like the matrix^^ it is more about wondering about existence then the matrix is and questioning if you truly exist while the matrix is about knowing one thing and relizing its not true then learning to except your destiny. My charcters have no destiny and a future doesn't really exist for them.Time is non linear to them. They can phase in and out of it at will back and forth. They don't have a fate. There is no god looking out for my charcters or guiding them.No great destiny awaiting them, they are not super heros summoned to save the day and they will most likely fail. Also as for her being like Neo I would have to say their powers far outclass his. There is also a more sinster purpose to the GWS then gaining power(they are not using the energy as batterys). Also the main charcter I wouldn't compare to Morpheus mainly because he is not as single minded as morpheus in his goals and his personality has many layers. Thanks for the comments ^^ However some of the matrix connections seem far fetched and I don't see a connection...

woo I would love to get into discussions about epistomology and existentialism... but I left those out on purpose and just discussed similarities in plot.

Thanks for the comments ^^ However some of the matrix connections seem far fetched and I don't see a connection...

sounds great to me ^_^. I'll look out for it.

Nice, I thought it was pretty interesting. ^^

OMG! A Super Smash Bros. Melee anime would be sweet!

It would be totally shounen to the max! This guy, who has no direction in life, is going to college for the first time. He makes some friends, and they introduce him to a Super Smash Bros. Melee club. He has a talent for this game, and he gets really good. Eventually, he goes to a tournament, where he totally does awesome, and almost gets first place. Instead, he loses to the girl that he falls in love with!

Just kidding. But that would still be awesome. :bowing:

why not take it a step further?

the land of Hyrule is in danger. Ganondorf has activated a portal to transport all of the Nintendo Villains so they may take over. luckily, all of the heroes have been mistakenly transported too. they must help Link restore order to Hyrule so they may return to their respective worlds and times.

that would be sweet, wouldn't it? i can just picture Samus and Pikachu teaming up against Ameba!

(And if AA's own comic is a hit, perhaps that will be cool for a show too :D)

I would make a sort of Dostoevskian tale about the nature of sin and the question of those who have power over who is sinful or not (I’m looking at you, Fundamentalist Christians...). This is just a mere draft of the tale and hoping to develop it later on...
Anyhow, it is about a Spectresque character who is ordered by God to punish those who have sinned. This "Spectre" goes across the world, seeing various offences in this world. Each episode deals with the individual's sin, and how he deals with it, and whenever or not he gets punished by "The Spectre" (I'll just call him this for lack of a name for him). The Spectre will give out Dantesque punishments for those he deemed sinful. This will happen for the first few episodes.

After that I will begin a story arc for the story. After punishing or rewarding those who have sinned, Spectre begins to question some people who have sinned. He starts to understand their own situations for doing these deeds (i.e. a teen robbing a store so he can help out his grandmother, a woman killing her own spouse because he abused her, etc) whom he either let go because they can repent, or reward or punish them for their own deeds. Angry at his own job, he goes to heaven to talk with God and the Archangels about the situation. Michael, leader of the Archangels, says that God's punishments are meaningful and that it is their own fault that they sinned and no repentance should be sparred for them. Gabriel, however, is sympathetic with Spectre's ideas and should put the situation with God. Zariel believes that some of the punishments aren't suitable for the people, and believes in a different ethical system (I base Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven off of Dante's Divine Comedy with the different layers of Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise systems.) of how people should be punished. Uriel believes that God should justify himself before the Archangels and the Spectre. I would flesh out the personalities of those in heaven before having a fight scene between Spectre and Michael so Spectre can see the Holy Father and ask him his own plights.

This story has elements of Dostoevsky (by that there are different ideologies among the characters and the mentioning of themes of sin) Milton (by that Spectre and Uriel feel that God should justify himself before them) and Dante (see mainly above) in it. I know my summary sounds messy and ended abruptly, but it is just a brainstorm and planning on fleshing out the ideas later on.

I have tons of other ideas for good stories and plan on posting them later on.

I have mainly six different ideas for animes, although every day I think of new ones, and only hang on to the very best ones (in my opinion). Does anyone else have this - You have the perfect atmosphere, idea, characters, and plot in your mind, but you can't explain it, put it down on paper? And when you try to tell someone, they don't really get it?

I am also afraid someone might steal one of my fantastically original ideas! :rawr:

I would make an anime about a message board full of idiotic members who desparatly want to be Japanese and go on about how awesome crappy shows are. Oh, and they also delude themselves into thinking they are making manga and anime, when in fact they are doing nothing other than ripping off other artists styles, making generic plots, and possibly (if they get really lucky) release yet another anime-looking American (or other country of origin) cartoon or comic.

Oh, they also bitch and complain about Teen Titans, Totally Spies and any number of recent American shows that look anime, because they are totally rip-offs.

Man, that would rock.

Well.... how's your idea going to go anywhere if you can't put it down or explain it properly? Lots of people have good ideas. The important thing is getting those ideas down on paper and sharing them to others, because the best idea in the world is nothing if you can't convey it to your audience.

That's the challenge of writers/etc. and it's something you'll have to figure out if you actually want to do something with those ideas of yours.

Greetings from the hospital again! *waves* And man, talk about an old-school thread. I was the one who created the original smash-hit "Your Own Anime Story" thread years ago. Anyways, since I'm done with my rehab, I can chill and give you some of my little ideas.

First, an old idea some old members may remember:

Last Train Home
The story about a runaway named Eiko who finds an ancient train that carries souls to heaven. Apparently, one of the souls was lost during one of its rides, and Eiko agrees to look for him in return for leaving her bitter reality and going to heaven.

Upon finding the boy, Ichiro (who's exactly her age) they both find that the train is gone! Even worse, the next train won't come back until one year has passed! The only way is to cross one of it's paths and make the last train to heaven.

However, when searching for the train, Eiko starts to see why Ichiro doesn't want to leave reality, and wonders if going to heaven is worth leaving everything... including friends, family and even love...

(The reason I put this one back up was because ever since I put this before, I have been writing the actual script and have actually copyrighted it. I hope once I graduate I can send this to a company since I am indeed planning on studying abroad in Japan next year to finish college. It's all set!)

Are you perhaps referring to somebody ragging on The Boondocks for being drawn in the a Western/Eastern style, because if they are we need to get em. The Boondocks is one of the best shows to come out in recent years on Cartoon Network and Teletoon in Canada, and I don't want it to get ruined by people who won't give it a chance because of the way it is animated. Though for every Boondocks there are a number of really poor shows that have no real vision other than to cash in on the popularity of Eastern style animation, like Die-Gata Defenders. However, we are seeing the beginning of a revolution in anime that will bring us out of the current rut. I'm actually finding more and more new shows worth watching in the 2006 season compared to the dismal 2004- mid 2006 season with maybe one or two titles worth watching throughout the whole thing.

As for my vision, it would probably be something along the lines of a Front Mission styled world with Wanzer's as the main weapon of war, where a left-wing organization leads a revolution against a Totalitarian United States Government, no stand-ins but the real deal U.S. The left-wing organization starts at the grass-roots but eventually builds steam and begins to receive nation-wide popular support as they begin to muster for an all or nothing attack on the White House itself. I guess it would be a 26 episode series with the majority of the first half focusing on the resistance being formed from a group of University students who decide that the only way to free the country from the grasp of the Totalitarian government is through armed resistance and they decide to steal a Wanzer from the Universities tech department.

However, they find of course that they cannot stand against the miliary with just one Wanzer so they begin a campaign to have their friend in the military join their cause. However, there friend betrays them to the military and they are captured but escape with 4 military grade Wanzers and a scientist to help tune there Wanzers. As the middle half rolls along after a 3 year skip they're exploits during the military escape have lead to their organization the Soldiers of Justice becoming a major power player in the U.S with a healthy membership of 5,000 including the friend from the military who appears to have turned to the heroes cause after all, or has he.

As the series moves along with some character development episodes the friend from the military betrays the Soldiers of Justice yet again and they are forced to fight a debilating battle that although they win and defeat the traitorous "Friend", the battle leaves the Soldiers of Justice to weak to prolong the struggle any longer. It is here that the remaining members decide to muster with one last attack on the White House in an attempt to depose the corrupt leadership and somehow seize control of the government. I have no idea how it ends though or how they're supposed to do that, I just wanted an excuse to talk about a revolution, oh and the series would be called Dawn of The Heroes. The themes are of course, politics, friendship, tragedy, dramatic tension, and mecha.

Oh and Natsuke Takeda, why is your Ai Ai Kirai story just Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu repackaged with Haruhi and Yuki blended into one character and the main character being another Kyon. And here I thought someone would compare it to Kare Kano, but MAN, that comparison you made is OUT THERE.

-It's not comedy.
-It's not about aliens
-Kyon was NEVER a genius and sucks at games and wasn't blackmailed
-Dunno how you blended Yuki and Haruhi together. The names?
-No one here is playing god >.>
-It's not sci-fi
-It's a slice-of-life anime

Come on yourself. While my story may seem cliche, to compare it to an anime that has no evidence whatsoever of being similar is a bad judgement. You also failed in comparing characters to other characters in another anime. That's a no-no considering Yuri can be compared to other types of characters other than that single anime. Hell, even the genre's were different.

You could've pulled off a professor comment like so:

"It's like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, minus everything fun(ny) about it."

That wouldn't been more impactful, but I laugh at the feeble comparison.

Though I'll hold my tounge on the remark that these stories have a 99% chance of ever being anime, negativity will only give you what you think will happen. Whether you believe me or not, people like me are out there, who have made the effort to try and break the barriers that anime has. I didn't become a Graphic Artist major to make sculptures or the next big advertisement, I became one because I wanted to make my hobby my dream job. Anime NEEDS an american/japan masterpiece to fully put the connection in the mainstream. That's where people like me come from. As long as this genre of entertainment still exists, you'll always meet people like me.

Minus the poor excuse for a cosplay outfit.
