you mean by how it sounds or translation?
well how it sound would have to be "daijobu" (you're okay/all right)
but for translations they would be
"kawaii" (cute/lovely/ect.......) "undoni" (really/truely ?) [dunno if i spelled it right....] and "yukai" (happiness)

'ga' in Japanese is like is/am/are in English.
Actually, 'ga' commonly marks the topic of the sentence, though it does get used for other functions. Several words can be used to show something 'is' or 'exsists', the most common being 'desu'.
I'm hard pressed to select a favorite Japanese word, but if I did it would be 'kashikomarimashita'. It means 'certainly'.

domo arigato gozeimasta (horrible spelling) = thank you very much (most formal)

Yosh! - to confuse and annoy coworkers
Gao - From watchin to much Air
Honto (really) - usually as a smart ass reply: "Yeah , honto ni"
Daijoubu (alright) - it just kinda fun to say, and one of the things that gets stuck when watching PGSM.
Doki doki desu (onomatopoeia - heart beating) - more annoying of coworkers.
I'm not trying to be a smartass, so everyone please forgive my corrections and explanations. I've been studying Nihongo ( Japanese ) for almost a year in my spare time, and I love the language. I know enough to know that I will never master it, but that's ok.
i love saying masu (which can be alot of things when adding it to words) and i really like the word, wakemarimasen which means, i dont understand. lol (sorry for spelling im sure its wrong)
'masu' is a verb suffix which makes the word you attach it to more polite. 'masen' makes it polite and negative. 'mashita' makes it polite and pase tense. 'masendeshita' makes it polite, negative, and past tense.
doomo does not mean thanks...
arigatou means thanks...
When doumo is used by itself, it does indeed mean 'thank you'. When used with arigatou, doumo means 'very much'.

that's some of my favourites...what do you think?
Not sure if you're still around, but "oneechan tachi" wouldn't actually be the proper way of saying it. Rather... if you were saying it about your own sisters, it wouldn't be correct. If you were saying that to a group of people who happened to be someone's sisters, then you're ok (oneesan tachi, not onee'chan'). But about your own? They'd be "kyodai" -> siblings. Generic term for either male or female siblings (even though the kanji is written with the kanji for "older brother" and "younger broghter", it is a unisex term).
"Teme" doesn't really mean anything. It's just sort of an inappropriate way to refer to someone, and it's usually said solo without a sentence. So it's more of an interjection. I have heard it used as a subject form like "you". But, again, it's a very inappropriate way to say "you".
"Ite" is a condensced form of "itai", which is an interjection referring to pain. "Ow", as you put it. "Ite", I believe, is the request form of "iru", meaning "to exist, be".

Desukai. Meaning love. Love love love love and more love.
Kawaii. I just love it. It means cute, of course, if you didn't know already.
Furi Kuri. Nobody knows what the entirely true meaning is, even if they think they do. It's such a loose term. Basically, it means something along the lines of "messing around" in sexual ways, even kissing and little things like that. It's also been reffered to as puberty, which is kind of dumb in my opinion, 'cause anyone can have sex, doesn't matter wether they're a teenager or not. Plus, it's all about the anime baby. FLCL.

"tokidoki" [sometimes]
I don't care how commonplace that word is in the modern Japanese language. There's just no discrete way to say it; I have to keep myself from cracking up every time my professor uses the word.
To make matters worse, I was practicing Japanese for a test a few weeks ago, and a friend of mine (who knows no Japanese) overheard the word "tokidoki" in a sentence. Now he won't let me up on it, shouting "tokidoki!" at me in a WarCraft III grunt voice every time he sees me.

"kawaii" (cute/lovely/ect.......) "undoni" (really/truely ?) [dunno if i spelled it right....] and "yukai" (happiness)

One quick question (funny actually). We (japanese class) are actually learning to speak and to read right now and i was just wondering, are those the root words? Because for read, we learned yomimasu and yonde (masu and te-form) and for to speak - hanashimasu. Just curious cus it would be cooler to use the roots in a sentence! I could also impress Sensei with my new-found knowledge hehehe lol

Personally, it find it very very nerve-grating to write for "kaku" (to read: 書く). The horizontal strokes can drive me up the wall sometimes.

Yes, "yomu" (読む) is a root word for "to read". "Yonde" (読んで) is the -て form (it is part of the so-called Category/Group I verb) and "yomimasu" (読みます) is the -ます form. The -ます form is the polite form to be used usually during a standard conversation.
I don't think your teacher will encourage you to use the root word for conversations. Basically, he/she and other Japanese teachers teach you the fundamentals first before you decide whether on which occasion is it appropriate to use certain forms.

Come to think of it, I haven't really posted my favorite Japanese word(s) yet. I can't decide on just one; I'll narrow it to just two:
Koi - I like this word because it can be intepreted in so many way, since it can mean love (恋), come (来; in a very dominative form) and in English, that auspicious type of fish.
Daikon - The vegetable isn't really my favorite, but I came to love this word ever since that one where my friend once made a Japanese girl blush when he asked her whether she like daikon. He actually mispronounced it as "dankon", which means dick.

Because 9/10 of the population would choose "poop".
Nuh-uh!!! My favorite English word would be "orange", because there is absolutely no word in all of English that rhymes with it. I suppose "poop" has value because it is a palendrome though.......
Anyhoo, back to Japanese. This might seem a little weird, but I really love the particles in Japanese. "de", "ga", "wa", "yo", "o", "ni", etc. "Yo" is my favorite, because it places emphasis in otherwise bland sentences. Don't say "The pen is red.", say "THE PEN IS RED!!!!!".
.....yup. That's weird. No doubt about it. ^_^
I also like "nani" (as in "what?"). It's just a lotta fun to say. That and "kaban".

That's so cliche though, you could go with purple or silver if you wanted that.

Well, OK. How about "money"? I like money too! ^-^
I seem to be unable to pick one final Japanese word to be my favorite, though. I've got about 100 more on top of what I've already listed here. It's so hard to choose a single word in what is overall an incredibly interesting and beautiful language!

My new favorite phrase is "Ore wo dare da to omotteiru?!"
Three guesses what it is and where it's from.

It doesn't make any grammatical sense.
If it's a typo and the second word is suppose to be "wa", then it means "Who do you think I am?"
No idea where it'd be from, though.

It's the beloved catch phrase from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.
And that's how it's said (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-T4g86KkNg&feature=related) in the Japanese version (wo, not wa), and who better to know how to speak Japanese than the Japanese, eh?
