Scariest Moment – Giant screaming Teddy Bear made of toys in Akira. When Kino opens the back of the truck and the ghost of the little slave girl who had been canibalized comes drifting out. In Kino no Tabi. In fact, that entire episode was soul-twistingly scary.
Creepiest Moment – When that guy halicinates that his guts were falling our in Akira or when Chehiro first sees her parents as pigs in Spirited Away or the double episode of Ranma where girl-Ramna is betrothed to that guy who can unhinge his jaw. She wakes up one morning and can't figure out why eveything's so dark, only to discover that he's sucking her head. That didn't sound right. Her head as in her entire skull.
Moment That Just Floored You – The first episode of ROD the TV knocked my socks off.
Best Ending – The last episode of Full Metal Panic Fumoff is both the best and worst ending I have ever seen. Sousuke accidently releases a biological wepon in his homeroom and everybody thinks they're going to die, only to find out that the weopon only eats sythetic fiber...like all their clothing. In the riot that ensues, Sousuke calls in an emergency helicopter evacutation. It’s bad because you definitely don’t want it all to end there, but on the other hand, it’s so damn funny and unexpected.
