Worst charater

Well, I hate really stupid people that are always trying to be smart but fumble. It gets repetitive after a while. Take the main person from Chobits.

There are a couple for me. I really hate the cliched hot headed character. All they do is yell at people "I won't lose to you!" and in battle, basically all they do is run forward and charge with the most obvious frontal attack, yelling "Arrrrrghhh!!!". And usually it's these characters that hold the biggest supernatural power within them, and have such an advantage over every other character in the series. There are so many of these people that I've lost count.

I also really hate groups of characters that focus on the saying "We can save the day! Because were a team! And noone can stop friends who work together!" *shudders*

[Zero]

The empty, no-personality character, often involved in a romance but has a horribly flat design (i.e. Aoi from Ai Yori Aoshi).

[Lavi]

characters who talk too much during battle. there's plenty: kenshin, every gundam character, etc..

[Lazy Otaku]

The geeky "victim" of harem anime serires' (excluding Tenchi!) who's life becomes a comedy for various amounts of fan service (panty shots, awkward walk-ins, etc.). Or maybe I'm just sick of all the fan service anime altogether.

The "silver spoon" character. Most of the time, animes portray those as haughty, selfish and selfrightous.... not exactly good personalities....

Then again, there are the "god" characters. I think i hate those more, especially when their powers seems to just disappear right at the final battle with the hero....

I personally dont like the characters who can do no wrong and has NO flaws physically mentally or personality wise...
all the girls like him... all the guys wanna be him... kind and caring yet UBER-powerful in battle... there is no hope to beat him... hes just so "perfect" that he cant really exist in real life...

there arent too many of them in anime... but when I see one it pisses me off cause only good stuff happens to them and im like "just DIE!"...

and yeah... I agree with Zero too... characters like Aoi are nuts... I mean when I first watched Ai Yori Aoshi I was like "whoa... crazy stalker lady... RUN KAORU!"...

and hey... I LIKE the geeky shy guy with glasses who gets the ladies (btw we all know you are talking about Keitaro)! He gives all nice but chronically hopeless guys like me hope for the future! It never happens in real life but at least it happens in anime...

The character type that pisses me off the most are the characters who always win/succeed at everything when they shouldn't. Ash from Pokemon, because there is no way he should win with all those cute but underevolved Pokemon. He even beats ground Pokemon with electric attacks. Yugi also fits in with this because he always wins because of that "heart of the cards" BS and always draws whatever card he needs. Not to mention that most of the cards in his deck are just weak. It just gets boring watching predictable battle after predictable battle. I guess you could say I hate the heroes of shonen action anime as a whole.

It's not only in Love Hina, it's also in several other anime. And I agree with BlackJack. These are one of the most irritating and unrealistic characters which just makes me say, "Pfft! What a stupid anime!".

Over-confident, loud, and usually angry character that can't win or do anything. You can't really feel sorry for these kind of characters, they are just too retarded.

Such an infuriating little bitch (more so in the manga than in the anime I thought) and as if that wasn't criminal enough, the thought of an american having a name like McDougal is just to much to be bear!

I vote Haruka from Kiminozo who, I've said it before and I'll say it again (man I love being a turtle ;) ), could be replaced by a block of wood and I wouldn't have noticed the difference.

Of course any of the other main characters from Kiminozo could take this "prize" as well.

Not really a hate of any one particular character here, but I think the use of the samurai girl is a bit too common in anime.
Eg Mai off Kanon, Suzuka off Outlaw Star etc.

i didn't like the main character from blue gender. Umm i think his name was Yuji. I liked him for a while but the way they drew him sucked and his whining and rapid changing of personalities got annoying. If you thought Shinji was whiny, then you'll hate this guy.

What?! Hamdo's personality is incredible! I give the seiyuu credit for doing such a fantastic job portraying the character. It's not that he was a bad character, it's just that he was evil... and insane.... and many other things. Well that's just me. :o

Ah yes. I remember, that another type of worst character is the whiny female damsel in distress that keeps fainting, has premonitions of the future and is constantly in the hero's way. And if they have a real annoying voice, or don't ever really help out the other characters and just stands there and cries for help all the time, it really irritates me.

Hmmm...pokemon was okay for the first two seasons. Then things went horrably wrong. Yu-Gi-Oh is okay...but I have a feeling it'll turn out like pokemon: a cash cow that the company is just DYING to milk for all its worth(whoo, a segway). Same went for Digimon. Kids animes just don't know when to STOP.

Digimon was very good, bt they stuffed too much into one season, thus forcing them to make an enterly new plot for the next one. If they had stuck with the original people and digimon, the show might still be popular today!

Totally agree. I hate any stupid, annoying, useless female characters (or male characters for that matter, but it just seems like there are more female ones typically).

oh c'mon, i like Kenshin. I don't think he talked all that much during Tsuiokuhen battles though except, for "To-moe..." and other things. But every battle needs some talking, trash I mean but not to flood it with words.

In general, I hate those mildly perverted protagonists who don't even know what they're doing or are total goofs... Examples might be Keitaro Urashima and Yusaku Godai (though halfway through he become a pretty decent guy)... However, I am not including Eikichi Onizuka and Mr. Yotsuya to the list because both characters are very entertaining and both seem to know what they're doing...

I hate it when the main characters are the most popular, athletic, coolest kids in the entire school, (Kare Kano is the exception) or when they are totally lazy, mean, and annoying, overally, exaggerated-ly average. Basically, I don't like extremes.

And I pretty much hate all characters created by Arina Tanemura. *shivers*
