I was ICQing with Linuts the other day and he linked this thread to me. I came and read all the comics and art posts! This is great!

Linuts, you're becoming one hell of a great artist! Really you are! The comedy and the art are superb!

Also, I thought that UZ_white' Sprite comic was pretty inginius... though simple, vary creative and funny.

And Ritalin using the GIMP is like... a dream come true... at last I'm not alone in the GIMP productions. Yay!

It's nice to see everyone doing such a great job, this was a great idea... just for that I'll post a little doodle I did this night. =^.^=

Not bad, but it needs a bit of work. Your cutout of Annie May is a bit rough (you can see the outline fairly easily), and the text is a bit jagged (needs antialiasing, maybe). Oh, and a fade/shadow (for the text) with more than two or three shades would be good. What program did you make it in?

For MS Paint, it's actually not that bad a job. However, I noticed that you copied the Anime Academy logo from the front page, and used that. Don't. There's a gigantic quality loss when you do that. Take a look at the lettering in your sig, and then at the lettering on the Anime Academy front page. Can you say compression? :D

Hmmm... I'm defenetly interested in the idea... I love contests! To say if I'd enter I'd need to know a few things though... like... What would it be like? Just ilustrations or manga pages? If so How many pages? What would the prizes be? Would it be an open stutent vote or judged? Etc.

Well, here we go. I drew this last night while I was watching Adult Swim. I still don't know exactly where this idea came from, all I know is that, for some reason, when I was done with it, I was oddly satisfied with the results.

I look at it now and see about 400 glaring flaws, most of which were caused by my scanner.

I think what does it for me is the expression on TIF's face (Yeah that's how he's supposed to look, at least in my imagination). You can tell there's a story behind this picture, which I may get around to writing.

Before anybody gives me any crap about what Annie's supposed to be wearing, don't ask me. I started out drawing something / someone else and for some reason I stuck her head on it instead. God, I can't believe I'm gonna actually post this. It's terrible.

*edit* Jesus this turned out bigger then I thought it would. I'll have to go back and resize it later. I apologize if this screwed anybody up. I'll just post a link to the picture instead.

Like I said, you get the feeling there's a story behind that picture, since it's not really what you'd expect from either of them. Hell, truth be told, I still dont know what I was going for, but was very satisfied with the overall feel.

I keep looking at it, and while there does seem to be some shyness from TIF, it seems like he's more... unsure of the situation. It seems more like he's comfortable with what she's doing but is in a way timid about it. Annie's no help, since her expression is fairly neutral compared to his.

If I'd have put blush marks on them, maybe that would have helped straighten out the feel of the picture, but without them, it just doesn't quite make sense by itself.

It needs a story.

And yeah, I'm getting to that.

2. The green one is TnR, and the Blackish one is KK. The whole funny part is you can't tell their sexuality. That was a little in joke... that apperently no one got.
