That's actually quite good! The main thing that I'd suggest is working on your proportions; they're pretty off (twig neck, head too wide, etc.).

I usually don't peruse the Art Class section because I long ago grew tired of being one of a few people who actually critiqued the art. Most would (and probably still do, but I'm not about to check) just give a "good work" or "OFMG DAT AWSUM!!11" comment and nothing else regardless of the quality of work. However, I must say that this is one of the best threads I've seen in a while, and it seems to have grown quite a lot in only a few months. Keep up the good work, everyone. :D

Well, try looking at it from my perspective: I first started posting in the Lounge about October 2002, but by the time I became a professor in April 2003, I'd lost all faith in the Art Class section for the reasons I already stated. There would be the occasional good works, and even some spectacular ones (one that sticks out in my mind is Kuragari's Asuka sig), but for the most part, this section of the Lounge was a lost cause where any joker could post something they made in MS Paint and only moderators frequented. However, this is all just my opinion.

But it is nice to see a definite change in pace. This might change my future Lounge surfing routine.
