My first kiss was extremely memorable for me. I was 18 at the time (high school sucked.) I had a HUGE crush on one of my female friends for months. The problem was that she starting dating a junior soon after starting college. Lucky for me, their relationship went downhill fast.

One night, we went to a frat party and maybe it was the alcohol, but I basically said screw the boyfriend, and I started being a lot more touchy...making more contact on the dance floor, putting my arm around her back, tickling, etc. Stuff that a friend wouldn't normally do.

After the party, we went back to her room. We were sitting on the floor, listening to CD's. Playfully, I pulled her to close to me, and for the longest time, we just sat there staring at each other, getting closer and closer. Anticipation was absolutely insane. I was totally nervous because it was my first kiss and because I wanted it so badly. I think we must have sat there saying absolutely nothing for more than 15 minutes. When we finally kissed, it was like fireworks. The kiss wasn't a little peck either. We made out for the longest time. I was totally giddy from the kiss and from the awesome feeling of having my feelings reciprocated.

Definitely a really wonderful experience, and in a way, it made me glad I didn't 'waste' my first kiss on something stupid in high school.
